back to group back to club
Now that Booklikes has hosted 3 bingo games (Halloween, Comic Book & Romance), as well as the Twelve Tasks of the Festive Season and Booklikes-opoly, it occurs to me to open a suggestion box for the group.

If you have an awesome idea, post it here. If you are interested in creating & hosting a game, post it here, too!

If you want to randomly complain, send me a PM. I'll ignore it, but that's OK. ;0)

That's a cute idea for a get-to-know-our-bookshelves challenge!
Scavenger hunt would be fun! I know some people seed about another Halloween bingo too.

Hahahaha! Way to go Char!
So, a bit pop culture, but to widen out from traditional "horror" for halloween, what about a "Stranger Things" bingo or game?

And I'm down to work with someone on getting something together.
Around the World in 80 books? The task is to read 80 books from 80 different places. I don't know how realistic it is to get a book from 80 different countries but one could try if they want to.

Halloween Theme- Take a poll of favorite candies/Halloween treats. For the top ten answers you have to find a book that relates to that candy/treat. Shared word in title. MC shares a name with candy/treat, etc.

That's all I've got. I need more coffee.
I love the idea of the scavenger hunt and Stranger Things!

I'm with Char - Halloween all the way!! :)
I think that having something related to Halloween would be fun. Stranger Things is a good idea and so is the candy idea. I am just wondering how many books related to Stranger Things themes we would be able to identify.

I think that this is an interesting idea, Char - although I haven't watched Stranger Things! I have heard it is amazing, though!
Ooh, a Candyland-type game sounds like great fun!
I mean, you can do some pretty bonkers things tied to Stranger Things - the LARP i used to help write and run had our first game days after the first season trailer dropped and we were cracking up b/c of how close in theme they were.

You can basically fulfill a Halloween theme by doing it Stranger Things and don't need to limit it to jsut 80s.
What is Stranger Things?

eta: Nevermind - TV

And I'm up for a Halloween theme.
I like the idea of Candyland and a Halloween theme. Maybe a second game later that focuses on Holidays in general. Could a Monopoly type game be done? You could use the world wide holidays like New Years as well as regional or cultural ones. Chinese New Year, Valentines, Boxing Day, what have you.
Wow. You guys have some great ideas!
