Thanks! We'll surely consider adding those. They sounds great.
Have a wonderful New Year's Party!
This is a request (or requests) for the notifications on the dashboard. Any - or all - of these would be incredibly helpful for those days when I wake up and there are over 30+ notifications waiting:
1. The notifications drop down could scroll?
2. New notifications are highlighted/marked in some way so they look different than the old notifications?
3. Notifications are numbered?
The first request would be nice for when you have 6, 7, or 8 notifications; you can scroll to see those instead of having to open the notifications page.
The second and third requests - either one of those would help when you have 20, 30 or more requests so you know where the old ones stop and the new ones start.
I already am setup to get email notifications too, but I don't always get all the emails - I find the notification window more accurate more often. These three things would make it easier to use. Thanks!
4 feature requests por favor:
1) Instead of a linear, incrementing post system to track bugs and FRs, move this to a proper topic > nested comments forum style interface. It's very difficult for a new user (with 25+ yrs IT experience) to determine if I have a new bug or FR.
2) Transparent PNG support for user icons (currently, alpha channels are converted to #FFFFFF)
3) "Edit" button on your own blog posts while in blog view
4) While in blog view, clicking on "heart" or "megaphone" glyph should reveal the list of people who like or (reblogged?) the post
Thanks!
There are a couple of things I'd love to see added to our shelf (as optional) columns: ISBN # the biggest one, but I'm starting to think it would be nice to have it possible to see our tags in the shelf table too.
I've been thinking I need/want to update tags on my reviews, now that I get how useful they can be, but I don't have any easy way to scroll through my reviewed books and see the tags. I have over 900 reviews so live scrolling through my blog is unrealistic (I tried). I thought my timeline would work, but it also displays all my likes and I can't filter it to only show reviews so that was worse than the blog.
Seeing them in the shelf table is the only way I can think of easily accessing/viewing.
I'd like a way to add a comment to the books I add to a book list. I'm listing the award winning books such as Agatha Award winners or Anthony Award winners. I'd like to be able to add a note telling what year each book won it's award. Thanks for consideration!
I know I've asked before, but it's been a while. :) I would really, really appreciate it if there was a way to edit my drop down list of tags. It'd be so great to be able to modify, correct and streamline the list.

I came to the group specifically to request this feature! Organization control of tags and display of tags, such as a tag cloud, would be most helpful.

It sure would be GREAT if all the images for all book covers could be the same size. Being able to upload my own choice of cover image for the edition I actually have would be nice as well.
Thank you for all the suggestions. We'll brainstorm them with the BL Team and schedule them.

The comment section to the reading list is on its way :) You can also add more information in the list's description spot. The description can be added any time by editing your reading list.
Umm... I know English isn't your first language, so, do you mean that the description field may be accessed any time? [I don't think you meant to say assed. *hugs* :) ]

Oh my, sorry! Errors not intentional, of course. We meant added ;) Corrected already.
So there are no plans to be able to add notes to individual books on the list?

We're open to new ideas, we'll see what can be done :)
