I don't generally enjoy Time Travel tropes, so I'm going to count Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince for this one: specifically, the memories that Harry and Dumbledore visit in the Penseive, which are surely flashbacks if not technically time travel. more »
Electricity is naturally occuring. How do we define "discovery"? Google says that English physician William Gilbert published a treatise on electricity and magnetism (De magnete, Magneticisique Corporibus) in 1600 so I think that's the date I'll use. more »
