Quick read from cover to cover
No Exit - William Taylor Adams

Oh Lordy! Where do I start with this one!

Let’s say first of all, I could not put this one down. It was very fast paced and you wanted to keep reading until the end. You were on constant pins and needles throughout the novel and it was a job well done.

You cheered for Darby. She was no nonsense, and kept fighting on even when it felt like there was nowhere to turn to and things started turning really ugly. Yes she obviously did some very stupid mistakes along the way and this may infuriate some readers. However I liked her grit and her determination to keep that child alive.

The twists in this book is enough to put you on the edge of your seat. It keeps you interested and makes you want to keep reading to see what might be coming up next. I have to admit, the ending seemed a bit outrageous and it got to the point where it was a little over the top in dramatics. However, I’ll forgive for this time as I enjoyed reading this book.

The villains were well created, albeit cruel and horrible. Lars and Ashley do make a rather interesting duo and the little twist involving some bystanders at the rest stop was a nice addition to the plot. I did not care too much for the animal cruelty though, but I suppose it’s to be expected with someone of Ashley’s cruelty and manner. The little subplot involving his uncle was also interesting and adds another dimension to the book (albeit a small one).

Definitely take the time to read this! It’s a quick fast paced read and you feel the tension and suspense throughout the book. If you can ignore the over the top craziness towards the finale, you’ll find an enjoyable read from start to finish.

Blog Tour w/Review - Carpool

Carpool by Noelle Adams is available NOW!

Book Info:

Title: Carpool

Series: Milford College #1

Author: Noelle Adams

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Publishing date: July 17th, 2019

Summary:

The last thing I want is to share a forty-five minute commute with the most obnoxious (and attractive) man I know. But I can't afford a new transmission right now, so I'm stuck with Marcus for at least a month.

He promises to be good, but Marcus Greene is never good. And I'm not sure how long I can resist him.

Carpool is the first book in the Milford College series, novellas about the faculty and staff of a small liberal arts college.

Carpool (Milford College, #1)Carpool by Noelle Adams
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Jennifer has basically grown up in the same small town as Marcus. When her grandmother warns her to stay away from him - she takes it seriously. She takes everything seriously.

Marcus is completely shocked when the woman of his dreams asks him for a favor. As they get to know one another by carpooling to and from work, they are surprised to find common ground. Now if he could just convince her to give him a shot......

Such an amazing and sexy book. Felt like I was right there feeling the emotions of the characters. Their journey may have been a long one, but with the right words it can be the best one. I was very happy to root for these two to be together.

About Noelle Adams:

Noelle handwrote her first romance novel in a spiral-bound notebook when she was twelve, and she hasn’t stopped writing since. She has lived in eight different states and currently resides in Virginia, where she reads any book she can get her hands on and offers tribute to a very spoiled cocker spaniel.

She loves travel, art, history, and ice cream. After spending far too many years of her life in graduate school, she has decided to reorient her priorities and focus on writing contemporary romances.

Carpool (Milford College #1) by Noelle Adams
Carpool - Noelle Adams

She thought she had him all figured out. Turns out, she couldn't have been more wrong. Noelle Adams simplifies complicated with a sweet, less than obvious courtship in Carpool. Marcus and Jennifer are neighbors and colleagues. He pushes her buttons, just by breathing. When her organized life is disrupted by an unexpected expense, Jennifer reluctantly turns to Marcus. As she gets to know the man behind her nemesis, she starts to discover she never knew him at all. Carpool rode shotgun into my heart. If less is more, Adams exceeded all of my expectations.

Pies and Prejudice
Pies and Prejudice - Ellery Adams

Book 1 - Charmed Pie Shoppe

Ella Mae has just moved back to her childhood home of Havenwood, GA after catching her husband cheating with two very young women! While she is there, her mother and aunts convince her to open a Pie Shoppe. They end up in a bidding war with the local vet who is engaged to Ella Mae's bully from high school. They win the war and get the building and she opens her shop, but the vet ends up dead and she is suspect number one. When another person dies in her shop things start to heat up. She feels the need to find out who would murder these people and set her up.

I did enjoy this story and will be reading a few others to see if it holds up.
