THE GOOD LUCK SISTER by Jill Shalvis
The Good Luck Sister - Jill Shalvis

Tilly was the BFF of Dylan. When they grew up he left without a good bye to join the military. Tilly went on without him but 10 years later he is back and wants to get back together with her. Tilly is mad and tries to avoid him which is difficult since he is in her class. How will she keep her distance from him when she still feels the same pull?

I enjoyed this story. It is short but a lot happens. I liked Tilly and Dylan of today and yesterday. Both want to protect the other. I enjoyed how the class was on Dylan's side. I also liked how people tried not to take sides but eventually Dylan's past story comes out. His friends are a hoot. Her sister is a riot. I loved the story and the characters.

Finally
Can't Get You Out of My Bed (Love & Luck #6) - Isla Olsen

This is book #6 in the Love & Luck series.  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader understanding, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this series in order.

Ben has been in love with Aidan for as long as he can remember.  He is actively trying to move on with his life.  The problems seems to be with the fact that they run into each other.  Have friends in common.

Aidan has been avoiding going home.  He knows if he does he will come eye to eye and body to body with the very man he loves.  The one he can never seem to get over, no matter how far across the world.

This couple was such a joy to read.  A long time coming, this series is heartwarming, sexy, and seriously fun.  These characters are complex and genuine.  I love reading about them and hope to again.  I give this a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Changes
Two Men and a Baby - Isla Olsen

This is book #5 in the Love & Luck series.  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  To avoid spoilers, and to understand the series, I recommend reading this series in order.

Josh has been talked into going to his ex's wedding.  All of his friends and family is going to attend, so he is expected to.  Then he sees Connor, and how much he has changed.  The attraction is stronger, if that is even possible.

Connor knows he has no future with Josh, so he must keep his focus.  When he suddenly has a child to care for, though, he wants to consult the best expert he knows.  Then they fins out they have plenty in common.  I give this a 5/5 Kitty's Paws Up!

A Date for Good Luck (The Dating Series) by Heidi McLaughlin, L.P. Dover
A Date for Good Luck (The Dating Series) - L.P. Dover,Heidi McLaughlin

A Date for Good Luck by Heidi McLaughlin

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

McLaughlin and Dover are a match made in romance heaven. Humor and heart collide to make beautiful music together. A Date for Good Luck gives temptation a little nudge. Kellan and Hope are joy personified. From laugh out loud to sweet sentiment, from start to finish my heart felt more than a little lighter.

TOUR, EXCERPT & #GIVEAWAY - Hard Luck Girl by Topshee Johnston
Hard Luck Girl - Topshee Johnston

@GoddessFish, @Archaeolibrary, @TopsheeJ, #Mystery, #Thriller

Hard Luck Girl is a mystery about prostitution in a location better known for gardens than gangsters — Victoria, British Columbia.

Rose's life has never been easy. When she finds her pimp murdered it gets a whole lot harder. At first, she sees it as an opportunity but discovers the status quo has been disrupted and she's not at the top of the food chain, not even close.

Avoiding psychopaths, police, and friends like thieves, there is no one she can turn to for help not once she discovers a pimps life is cheap, a prostitute's even cheaper.

Stuck between the desire for a better life and holding on to hers, is a needle she's not sure she can thread. But maybe Hard Luck is better than no luck at all?

"A gritty novel with a surprising and strong female lead. Johnston offers all the expected hard-boiled elements in this mystery—including shady characters, near misses with the police, rampant sex, drug use, and violence.”
