Fabulous Historical Romance!
Wicked Wyckerly (Rebellious Sons Book 1)... Wicked Wyckerly (Rebellious Sons Book 1) (Rebellious Sons Series) - Patricia Rice

Wicked Wyckerly by Patricia Rice is an outstanding historical romance.  Ms. Rice has provided readers with a well-written book.  I love the characters in this story.  Fitz has just become the 7th Earl of Danecroft, a bankrupt estate and a sea of people wanting money from him.  Abigail is a country girl, happy with her crops but now needs a man to help her get her young siblings back home where they belong.  Fitz and Abigail's story is loaded with drama, humor, spice, action and a little suspense.  I enjoyed reading Wickey Wyckerly and look forward to reading my next book by Patricia Rice.  Wicked Wyckerly is book 1 of the Rebellious Sons Series but can easily be read as a standalone.  This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

Simple story, but Maira learns about inner strength.
Rebellious Secrets - Elizabeth Rose

Third in the series and a chance for Maira to prove herself. I loved how she learned about inner strength as well as physical strength. She showed her strong physical side but found out she also had a softer, more emotional side. The story was a bit simple but was full of secrets. Once Jacob's story came out, I found it easier to like him.

I received an ARC of this story, and this is my unsolicited review.

Review: The Duke Who Ravished Me (Rebellious Brides #4) by Diana Quincy
The Duke Who Ravished Me - Diana Quincy

This was an wonderful, well-written, heart-melting story from start to finish. With one of the best introductory scenes I might have ever read, this is one book I definitely recommend to anyone that loves fresh stories, unique twists, the right amount of drama, and characters full of emotions and wit.

So, that scene; we are introduced to the Duke of Sunderford, or Sinful Sunny, in the most decadent and naughty way, giving us glimpse of what was yet to come * yum *
I love dukes. I don’t care how many fictitious dukes there are, I’ve read lots of them and I’ll probably continue reading them for the rest of my life. However, Sunny is by far the most deliciously wicked, cynical, charming duke I have ever read. He was the epitome of the perfect all-rounded scoundrel there could possibly exist, and yet in spite of all the flaws the haughty man might have had, he never lied!

The plot itself was so much fun to read. One of the reasons my favorite trope is enemies to lovers is because of the verbal sparring, and this story satisfied my needs for it Every.Single.Time. The chemistry between Sunny and Isabel, the governess, simmered slowly until it burned a raging blaze at a perfect pace. Their love was believable and honest, just as the emotional attachment Sunny developed for his wards. Throughout the book we learn of Sunny and Isabel’s painful past, yet the story doesn’t dwell on it and instead it moves forward because of it. In truth, I think my only cavil is that as we neared the end I felt the scenes were being rushed. I’m not talking about the ending itself but the scenes that preluded the climax. Even so, the story delivered in every other way so I'm willing to overlook whatever faults I thought there were.

** I received this book at no cost to me and I volunteered to read it; this is my honest opinion and given without any influence by the author or publisher.**

Friends to lovers
Marrying The Rebellious Miss (Wallflowers to Wives) - Bronwyn Scott

Preston Worth is sent to retrieve Beatrice Penrose from Scotland where she has been pretending to be a widow with a child when actually it was because of a ill-thought affair. On the way they learn that they mean more than just friends to each other but the ex-lover has designs on her fortune.

It's not a bad read, interesting characters and a good end to the series.

Review For: Duchess by Day, Mistress by Night by Stacy Reid
Duchess by Day, Mistress by Night (Rebellious Desires) - Stacy Reid

Duchess by Day, Mistress by Night by Stacy Reid is the First book in the New Series called, "Duchess by Day, Mistress by Night". This is the story of Georgiana Rutherford, the Duchess of Hardcastle and Mr. Rhys Tremayne 'Broker'.
Georgiana married Hardcastle when she was just 16 years old and he was 42. They had a son named Nicholas but then Hardcastle died about 5 years ago leaving Georgiana a widow. But Georgiana was popular with the town but lacked passion in her life. Now Georgiana young son Nurse Maid, Jane Walker has disappeared and since the Bow Street Runners hasn't found anything out nor is her brother Simon taking it seriously, Georgiana thinks to see if the 'Broker' can help. Rhys is called the Broker and works hard for him and his family to get ahead since they didn't have the 'Towns' life as a genteel family. Their life style also effected his sister Lydia by having her come down with a fever that left her deaf. Rhys greatest wish is for his sister's to be settled within the town to good husbands. But that hasn't been a possibility so far but now that the Duchess is asking for his help maybe he can strike a bargain to have Georgiana bring his sister out to the Town. But Rhys doesn't expect Georgiana to be so young and attractive, nor does Georgiana except to be so attracted to Rhys.
I must say that I am a big Fan of Ms. Reid's writing and I try to grab her books up as soon as I see one. This newest story from Ms. Reid did not disappoint at all! Loved it!!
