Two little children only emerge each Halloween. Two little, creepy children on a mission. And then the killings start.

This was quite a disturbing little read, but one that I did in fact enjoy. The writing was very good and made it an easy read. The creepiness all but crept from the imaginary pages of my eReader. The twins had a mystery surrounding them that I would have liked to see fleshed out a bit better, but this didn't stop me from enjoying the story. It was however a bit too short perhaps.

This short story from Gregor Xane was brilliant and the only thing I’m sorry about is that it ended.

The story is about a brother and sister who appear from beyond the darkness at Halloween. To say anymore would spoil the story, so I urge you go and nab it while it’s free here.

The tension mounted throughout and I was riveted from the beginning. At no time did I feel the story lag or dip.

It was excellently written as well and the story arc was perfectly done to maintain tension.

Another thing that I loved was the description. I could see everything in my mind’s eye and felt like I was there. The attention to detail was staggering for such a short piece.

My favourite aspect of this were the characters though. They were so well drawn that I felt for each and every one.

Definitely read this, as soon as you can. You won’t regret it.
