I liked this one. I liked it more than I liked the movie I think except for one thing. I felt like the main characters Jamie and Landon had more of a connection in the movie. I just didn't see that as much in the book. I did feel more hopeful at the end of the book than I did in the movie, however, I was still bawling my eyes out.
I recently discovered how some book are so similar (also when it comes to author themes) that I decided to create a new series. I compared a familiar book with an unfamiliar one (you may still know them) and it doesn't matter if you've read only one of the two. These are some that look very similar to each other:
The Fault In Our Stars vs A Walk To Remember
Why? Both deal with heartbreaking diseases, strong female teenagers, love relationships and staying true to yourself. I love them both so much, but when I read and watch The Faulr In Our Stars I compared it so much with A Walk To Remember (I read and watched that a few years before). They're both really good as well
Pippi Longstocking vs Anne of Green Gables
Why? Both main characters are children and very witty and clever. I think they could have been best friends and the world totally would fit as well. They're also very easy to read and both well known and loved classics.
The Jungle Book(s) vs Burmese Days
Why? Both authors came originally from India (or their parents and moved to Great Britain) and these books are both about colonialisation and imperialism from the perspective of India so not from the western world. That's why I love them both, even though the setting is kind of different (Jungle Book has animals and jungle vibe). They both have other themes that are kind of similar as well. Only difference is, is that Jungle Book is from the perspective of a child and Burmese Days from a man in his twenties/thirties.

I've been a huge fan of Christina Aguilera for as long as I can remember, so it was about time that I would create a tag!
1. What a Girl Wants: favorite OTP
Anna and Etienne from the Anna And The French Kiss trilogy. I love them! Oh and Jamie and Landon from A Walk To Remember.
2. Fighter: best dystopian character
Katniss from The Hunger Games trilogy. I cannot think of an other character, because she really fights for her life and isn't even selfish.
3. Soar: a character you feel sorry for and wish they would be happy about themself
Lincoln O'Neill from Attachments. I felt so sorry for him and I kinda wish he would have believed more in himself and that he could be proud of who he was. Oh and Flory from Burmese Days. He didn't believe in himself as well and that kinda sucked for him.
4. Come On Over (All I Want Is You): character crush
Owen from Confess! Do I need to say more?
5. I'm OK: name a book that has home violence in it
I actually can't remember a book that deals what that topic, so if you know one: let me know!
6. Slow Down Baby: a couple that shouldn't have been a couple (so he/she just had to back off whenever the other person wanted to)
In all the dystopian books when the girl ends up with the instructor... just no!
7. Here To Stay: a badass character that doesn't care about what other people think
Jamie from A Walk To Remember. No matter how hard those high school kids were bullying her, she stayed true to herself and didn't care what other people think about her.
8. Hurt: a character that made stupid mistakes and wished could undone them
Macy from The Truth About Forever. She made just so many stupid and annoying mistakes and made such a big deal out of such small problems.. it was just really annoying and I think if she just could have said things way earlier things would have gone way differently.
9. Lift Me Up: a book that helped you about yourself/life
It's Kind Of A Funny Story. I wasn't feeling that great so that book came perfect on time. Oh and Looking For Alaska as well.
10. But I'm a Good Girl: a character that everyone seems to think bad of, but you think she's a good person
Tris from Divergent. So many people think she was a whiny character and made stupid decisions, but I don't think that all! She was a good person you guys.
11. Red Hot Kinda Love: a book/series that you loved from beginning to end
A Walk To Remember, The Archived series and Vicious, and Jane Eyre as well (and so many other books!).
12. Your Body: a character that you couldn't stand but still like because he/she is still sexy
Damon from the Lux Series. Do I still need to say more? I couldn't stand him at all but yea, he was a sexy character!
13. Just A Fool: a book you wish you could unread (and had high hopes for)
Uhm, so many! Anna Karenina, Fallen series, Across the Universe trilogy..
14. Shotgun: a book that you will always re-read and wish you could take with you everywhere
Uhm, Harry Potter duh! But honestly, I don't have a book that I could just re-read over and over and over again for the rest of my life. I have a few favorites of all time though (see other questions haha).

So I guess I can say April wasn't a big reading month for me, but with all the studying I've been doing it's still a lot. These are all the physical books I've read in April:
- Insurgent (Divergent #2) by Veronica Roth 5/5 (re-read)
- Monsters of Men (Chaos Walking #3) by Patrick Ness review series
- A Walk To Remember by Nicholas Sparks 5/5 (re-read)
- Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen (still currently reading)
I read the last 200 pages in April, so that's why it is in this wrap-up as well. I also read the two novellas that comes along with the Chaos Walking trilogy on my laptop.
I decided to read a Roald Dahl novel and decided to read The Witches (review) and I read that one on my Ipad.
When I was reading Sense and Sensibility I got kinda in a reading slumb, because I had to study as well and the writing style in this novel is hard to follow when you have studies already. I really like the story though! I think I'm going to put this one down 'till after finals. Because I had to study and wanted to have a light read, I decided to re-read A Walk To Remember. It's my all time favorite story and I've never read this copy before so I re-read it.
