As it turns out, Zoe wasn't their ultimate goal, but rather a draw Deadshot to them.   When the Kobra's dead, former leader is put into Deadshot, who becomes a snake/human hybrid - not a spoiler, because that cover, by the way, which says he's transformed - who will save him, and how?  

Excellent ending to this storyline.

They've been circling, but they close in on Kobra, who are ready to put the soul of their deceased and beloved leader, into Zoe, wiping her identity out in the process.   

And I have to go, so very, very short review.   Love the focus on Deadshot!

Another fun issue leading up the finale of this storyline.  I'm really, really enjoying these longer storylines!

And it's fun, especially when the Squad finds them and tries to ambush them.   

I wasn't sure this would work, but by the end of this issue, I was totally involved in the way that Batman and Deadshot worked together in the storyline and against each as characters. 

When Deadshot's daughter is kidnapped, Batman breaks into Belle Reve, breaks out Deadshot and makes him promise not to kill anyone while they save Zoe.   

Let's see how long this lasts when they meet with the people who took her.   My guess was not very long, by the way.  Like seconds. 

Anyway, this is a fun storyline, and I didn't quite buy this until I realized that Batman's son, Damian, was in much the same situation: kidnapped, and brainwashed, by a cult.  Of course he'd want to help Deadshot, not just by saving Zoe, but by taking him along to help save her. 

Kobra, the snake cult - it's always a snake cult, isn't it? - has Zoe this time.
