Devil of Mercy by KouriArashi
Devil of Mercy - KouriArashi

Teen Wolf Fan Fiction

I put off reading this because it includes Stiles being a rent boy and that just doesn't appeal to me at all.  However, I was convinced to read it anyway, and it turns out that occurs before the story begins and Stiles, while damaged and gun shy, is a survivor on a mission.

Peter and Stiles make a great couple in this.  They are both ruthless and devious and very. very determined.  Stiles has strong instincts to protect the weak and save victims.  Peter doesn't, but he has strong instincts to make Stiles happy, and enjoys the plotting and scheming required to accomplish Stiles' plans. They are both brave to the point of insanity, and willing to take on absolutely anyone.

The story is good too - there is suspense and a mystery around what Deucalion is up to and what happened to the Sheriff.

Recommended.

Devil of Mercy by KouriArashi
Devil of Mercy - KouriArashi

An excellent well-plotted steter fanfic from KouriArashi. Nineteen year old Stiles has been trying to find out what happened to his father since Tom's disappearance three years ago, prostituting himself in the process. Peter rescues Stiles from the omega room at the mating ceremony claiming him as his mate on a whim.

“We’re not exactly the sort of couple who are going to have two point three children and a picket fence. We’ll travel and we’ll argue and we’ll ruin people and destroy their lives and then save other people and give them their lives back. We’ll be gods among men. "

Heretic (Devil Have Mercy, #2)
Heretic (Devil Have Mercy, #2) - Michael... Heretic (Devil Have Mercy, #2) - Michael Horton After I finished Heretic and had to get on with my normal, non-Death Eater existence, it kept popping back into my head. The characters just wouldn't leave. I had (and still have) very clear images of each character and the places they were in. The author has filled every character and space with details that aren't boring, outlining the struggles they face as fate (or, arguably, some other otherworldly force, considering we're dealing with Reapers, Death Eaters, and Angels) intrudes on life.

As usual, the action scenes are gritty, brutal, and peppered with witty dialogue. Lovin' it. An excellent sequel to Hypocrite. Can't wait for the next-in-series.

Hypocrite (Devil Have Mercy, #1)
Hypocrite (Devil Have Mercy, #1) - Micha... Hypocrite (Devil Have Mercy, #1) - Michael Horton The main character has enough bad attitude in her to make the world spin, and did not fail in firing up all sorts of vengeful grins when I was reading. The book has an intriguing premise, is full of action and kickass attitude, and a main character out to burn a hell of a lot of bridges behind her. A few parts were a bit confusing, but it became clear in the end. And the action scenes were pretty hardcore, using a special mix of physical and magical that I love.

Looking forward to reading the sequel.
