She doesn't want to trust him again but they ll need to overcome their off screen tension if they hope to handle the drama that s about to unfold...

There's a lot I really loved about At First Light, there's a lot that kept me from liking as much as I was wanting to however I still thought it was really great.

The idea was good but the added mystery spin on it all could have been done without because we (the reader) already had so much going on with the ptsd angle and the added backstory that I don't really think the extra adventure was really necessary.

It didn't really provide good flow with the organic feel of the over all story.

That aside I did like our h/h, I thought they were great together, I enjoyed the way they played off one another which kind of had An Ugly Truth kind of feel to it which is always fun. 

Overall I pretty much enjoyed At First Light from beginning to end.

Asher Anderson is an amazing surfer—with a body to match—but he’s pretty much the world’s worst weatherman. Reality check romance coming up. Piper and Asher are total opposites and Asher isn't really the kind of guy that feels for the hardships of others or anyone other than himself but Piper is one of the open heart feelers. She's the one who makes him realize that life isn't all about yourself.

I thought it was a really great lesson in committing your life to other people and better causes. It helped redeem Asher and change his self centered outlook on life.

An all around great read.

My Review:

I wasn't sure when I got this book that I would like it as much as I did but I liked the clean cover being simple and the focus being the couple instead of graphics and I liked the blurb.Jumping into the book I already got the smooth feel that this book was reality based romance which I've begun to enjoy in contemporary romance these days.

You have guy and girl finding one another then returning to their real lives only to be reunited due to circumstances out of their control. I liked that even though there was instant attraction vibe it wasn't instant love.

Both Jake and Liz have priorities in their lives that they are both more determined to stand by instead of simply jumping into their passions and getting involved in a serious relationship. I really liked that about both of them.

I really wish more contemporary romances were more like this one. It had honest romance, and honest characters, among a surprising "conflict" to keep you interested along with the building relationship.

Just This Night was a great read and I'll be looking forward to reading more of Madison's work in the near future.
