The Bride by Julie Garwood
The Bride - Julie Garwood

I'm not surprised at all that this book has been among 100 best romance books for years.
It's a very humorous story about a Scottish laird who is forced to marry with an Englishwoman. Alec and Jamie were both wonderful characters. Sure, Jamie was almost too perfect, but Julie Garwood used her few flaws to make me laugh all the time. I loved her banter with Alec and the way her husband tried to make her angry, when he saw her sad or worried, was hilarious.
The story also had a little bit of suspense and danger. But actually it's an amazing "feel good" book and it just made me happy.

Allegiance of Honor by Nalini Singh
Allegiance of Honor (Psy/Changelings) - Nalini Singh

Very well written and although it was about all the previous couples, the book had a good storyline - our heroes tried to locate a kidnapped lady shifter and had to protect the first psy-changeling child. At the same time they expected another first - pupcubs were ready to be born.
It was great to visit the characters and read about their lives. I was a bit disappointed that Lara and Walker had such a small part in it but I'll survive. Nalini Singh is definitely one of my favourite authors. She knows how to write an exciting emotional story.

Lover Mine by J.R. Ward
Lover Mine - J.R. Ward

I'm just so happy right now. This was almost a perfect book. It had everything: romance, action, suspense, heartache. Yeah...amazing couple and a great story.

End of Days by Susan Ee
End of Days - Susan Ee

I bought the first book years ago but now I'm really glad I waited until the last book was published before I started reading this series.

After I picked up the trilogy I couldn't put it down until I'd finished the last book. It captivated me so much, I had dreams about Penryn and Paige. I loved Penryn's strength and what was done to Paige broke my heart. Their connection and the storyline reminded me The 5th Wave but it didn't bother me a bit. The angels were scary and the bond between Penryn and Raffe was amazing. It was born out of necessity and grew into mutual respect and friendship. The world was spooky and the story had some really heart wrenching moments also some hilarious ones like Raffe and Penryn bickering about Pookie Bear.
My only complaint is that I want more. I need to know what will happen to the characters next. The author tied up most of the loose ends but I still have questions.

Shards of Hope by Nalini Singh
Shards of Hope (Psy/Changeling) - Nalini Singh

Really good. It's one of the longest if not the longest psy-changeling novel but I still wanted more. The way the Arrows started to build their society was so fascinating and I liked how all these different groups were trying to work together. There were old characters and amazing new ones and while some of the old villains were still lurking around they had a terrifying new foe, who wasn't picky while choosing its targets.
This is definitely my favourite paranormal series.
