I honestly can’t imagine how different things would have been had I not taken on this sequence. Simply perfection!!

There is truly no way to put into words this book, these characters, this story or this journey. It’s simply an experience I will never forget. I have half of Book 6 to complete and I just don’t want it to end. 

This was just magicals. All my love. 

“I’ll never forget your face. Your freshly ironed shirt. You terrified all of us. You know we almost didn’t come back the next year because you fucking freaked everyone out. You walked out of the desert followed by three wolves. Three… dogs or whatever. They walked behind you at a distance. As soon as you reached people, they turned and ran off.”

Definitely some intriguing moments, a terror filled night in the desert and one heart-wrenching kinging.  This one though moved quite slow for me compared to the others. But I am absolutely giddy about book #5 and completing Daniel! ❤️

“Vin.” His commanding voice lifts my chin. “Tell me your king name, little one.”

Before I can stop them, the words slip out of me. “I am a Lost King.”

He kisses my forehead.

“No man is lost in my arms,” he says, whispering into my ear, the last words I hear.

Another amazing King journey set in one of my favorite cities on Earth.

One of the beautiful series of books I am sure to ever read.  My copy is filled with highlights and none of them do this journey justice.
