Enforce (Terran Times, #22) by Viola Grace Review
Enforce - Viola Grace

Gwen has been living a life of duty and responsibility. Her first Alliance assignment was as an Enforcer, her next the polar opposite, Matchmaker. She has fought rabid crowds with ease and control, but facing an endless supply of bridezillas is too much to handle when her old boss comes knocking.

Etien Mathijen has pulled in every favour he was owed to get his true mate to his planet in a capacity where he can court her. Now he just has to get her cooperation and they will be able to live happily ever after. With her mind on duty and responsibility, can he crack her shell of reserve in time to save her from her own mindless obedience?

A quick SFR read to pass an afternoon. The dance between the hero and heroine is a lot of fun.

The Perils of Paulie (A Matchmaker in Wonderland)
The Perils of Paulie (A Matchmaker in Wo... The Perils of Paulie (A Matchmaker in Wonderland) - Katie Macalister This was a typical Katie book and of you are a fan of Katie's, you will most likely enjoy seeing adults act like moronic teenagers.

This was a cute story, but Katie's descriptions of sex are wearing a little thin for me -what was really funny a decade ago is not so funny as I age. I guess that makes Katie a great author for those who are new to her and will be reading everything Katie has written in one huge gulp.

As I said, this was a cute story and the plot-line was a bit more unique than the norm. However, it quickly lost its uniqueness as the romance part heated up.

The Perils of Paulie (Matchmaker in Wonderland #4) by Katie MacAlister

Sheltered by a strict father, Paulina Rostakova spends her time working for the family business and yearning for some grand adventure.

So when contestants are needed for a reality show reenacting an historic 1908 car race across the US, Asia, Russia, and Europe, Paulie jumps at the chance to get behind the wheel of a vintage car.

Dixon Ainslie has nothing to lose by entering the race, except the rut he’s been in since the death of his girlfriend years ago.

But as other racers begin to drop out, the producers want Dixon to join forces with Paulie—on one condition: they have to pretend to fall in love and get married.

And as their scripted courtship takes off, Dixon and Paulie will have to take a detour into reality to turn the sparks flying between them into a passion with staying power.

If you haven't read this series you really need to pick it up.

As the fourth installment in the Matchmaker series I love the character connections between the books that bring cameos to the table. I'm a sucker for cameos.

Although Paulie took some getting used to as far as some of her personality traits I liked her and Dixon together but I really liked Dixon the most.

I think more than Paulie - Dixon stood out as the most liked personality to me. Paulie got a little weird in some places a little wish - wash with insecurities however I still enjoyed the read.

Some of the comedy/sense of humor was a little over the top for me to find funny but I liked it all in all.

OK in the end
The Matchmaker - Elin Hilderbrand

One of the most infuriating protagonists I've ever had to suffer through, but it was a good read in the end

The Matchmaker's Replacement (Wingmen Inc.)
The Matchmaker's Replacement (Wingmen Inc.) - Rachel Van Dyken
Lex and Gabi are completely adorable. He’s the guy who does his good deeds anonymously and always pretends to be a bad guy publicly because emotions make him nervous. She’s the pseudo sister to his best friend. Even though he’s always secretly had a thing for her, he’s never acted on it because she’s the only person his best friend has ever told him is off limits.
The Matchmaker’s Replacement is full of clever banter, lot of fighting, play fighting, fighting that blends into making out and fun. It’s a new adult romcom that will leave you smiling.
