Discrimination

Discrimination

I had a dream, a lucid one,

That I wish was real,

Where there was no discrimination upon anyone,

Everyone lived at ease, even the ones who started it,

I hope that dream will come true,

I try my best waiting for that moment,

That everyone realizes they are all equal, no matter what,

And start to befriend those next to them,

We are all humans, with the same red-colored blood,

And we all have the rights to do something,

We should not be discriminated by our skin, gender, race and more,

We should not label those who are different,

As we are chosen to be different from others,

We all should stand and help those in need,

We should not discriminate on the basis of skin, gender and race,

As we all realize that all lives matter!

Reading progress update: I've read 64 out of 376 pages.
Selected Poems - W.H. Auden,Edward Mendelson

Well, I somehow got sucked into this tonight.

I hope to share a few lines tomorrow when I have a real keyboard at my disposal. Typing on the kindle is always more hassle than it's worth.

Reading progress update: I've read 45 out of 569 pages.
The Complete English Poems - John Donne

"Donne was much praised in his lifetime, under-praised thereafter, and over-praised earlier this century."

Now that is an unusual sentence to start the last paragraph of the Introduction with.

I miss you poems

Poem about Life | Free Verse Poem | I Miss You Poems

I feel so worried, as if I’m going to get sick,
If it was a trick, I would be delighted to wake up,
I don’t see you for a while, as if I am isolated,
As isolation will blow my mind away

Through the ice, I hear your voice,
As if it’s the only hope, that I can’t cope,
Your voice gets spotted, but still stuck in ice,
As your voice gets louder, I start to sink

They pull me down, while you try to pull up,
They won’t stop neither you,
Since you never showed up on the right spot,
I feel lonely as I miss you

I feel so sad that I only visited you for a day,
As gloom surrounds my wishes and dreams,
Without expressing or anyone knowing,
As I know, I miss you

I am stuck on an island missing you,
My feelings are being fearful,
As you are not around,
Please comeback, I miss you
