When it comes to breaking the rules count on the Rourke family to do so with style. It's hard to believe I'm ten books in and still as in love as ever. Connor finally gets his chance to shine in Rogue Angel and he proves that he knows how to get things done. Gilmore gives readers a bit of taboo with Becca and Connor. Will a chance encounter spoil their chance at happily ever after? Addiction with a saucy edge spells more than a little fun.

My Review:
Full course (historical) romantic mystery adventure ahead. Mary Jo Putney is one of those slow down and enjoy it novelists who write stories with h/h's that totally slip under that protective layer in your heart plants a seed and takes root through the duration of the story until you're full bloom smitten over them. The whole looking past the outside of a person to one underneath what they reveal to everyone on the outside is a good play for Angel Rogue. You can't judge a book by its cover or the color of their skin, or even the experiences their lives have put them through. There is a person on the inside that thinks and feels just like everyone else. Greed is also a downer for the family betrayals. Too many times people that are connected to your life through blood or not aren't supposed to be so villainous but just like the real world they do exist. I really loved Angel Rogue, it was a great book that touched me on a personal level.

A magic sword? I guess you really need to read more of the books in the series to know what that's all about. The story itself wasn't too bad, searching for a long lost library hidden by Ivan the Terrible under the Kremlin. Sneaking around Moscow? Sneaking out of Russia? With the help of a Russian airport security guard? Hmm, not likely. It's all pretty unlikely, that's why it's called fantasy. It's book #37, so maybe I should go back and start at book #1?

I read nowhere near as much as I wanted to in the month of October, so in November I'm going to really try and step it up. 

1. Destiny (Rogue Angel #1) by Alex Archer. I gave this one a 3.5/5. It was a fun, easy read and I will continue on with the series, but I will be in no rush. 

2. Living Dead In Dallas by Charlaine Harris. I gave this a 3/5 and I have already posted my review of this one.

3. Between The Devil And The Deep Blue Sea by April Genevieve Tucholke. I gave this a 3/5. This was my friend read book choice of the month and our discussion review has already been posted.

4. The Shining by Stephen King. I gave this a 4.5/5. This was my first Stephen King novel and I cannot wait to read more of his works. My review is written and will be posted within the week.

5. Codename: Chimera by J.K. Persy. I gave this a 3.5/5. The authors were very kind and sent me a copy of this for review. This review is also written and will be posted within the week.
