WTF...this series just keeps getting better, while others did not...I felt this second book surpassed the first.
Wayward (The Wayward Pines Series, Book Two) - Blake Crouch

Wayward Pines

Blake Crouch

The plot surrounds Secret Service agent Ethan Burke's introduction to the remote small town of Wayward Pines, his new home from which he cannot escape. The mysteries and horrors of the town build until Ethan discovers its secret. Then he must do his part to keep Wayward Pines protected from without and within.

~MY QUICKIE (non-spoiler) REVIEW~

This is the type of story that you should go into blind…or at least semi-blind.  So I won't say anything about the plot itself.  I was completely absorbed in this audiobook, other than the beginning where I struggled to remember what happened at the end of Pines, I eventually fell into the story and started remembering.  If you decide to read this series...don't watch the TV show, after finishing the first book, I watched about an episode and a half and it has differences in how things play out, that only confused me when I started this book.  What a crazy-scary AF atmosphere that Blake Crouch has masterminded here in this series.  I cannot wait to listen to the third and final book in this series.

Ethan, Run!
Wayward (The Wayward Pines Series, Book Two) - Blake Crouch

It's been a long, long time since I've loved hating a character as much as I hate Pam. Kudos for writing a totally dislikable being. Overall I think this was a "just right" follow-up to Pines and a compelling setup for the last installment in this trilogy The Last Town. Ethan is still just trying to have his family safe, do the right thing, and survive all at the same time. There are times I don't like his wife because I want her to be stronger and tougher, less of a stereotypical girl about things. Blake Crouch, in my opinion, is exceptional at creating a strong sense of place and his descriptive skills are spot-on always striking a complete mood. I was happy with the flashbacks. They were cohesively worked into the story without disruption.

The Last Town Blake Crouch (wayward pines 3)
The Last Town - Blake Crouch

Whew! I honestly feel I've been on a bit of a journey with agent Ethan Burke and the residents of Wayward pine's I felt sadness while reading this book as I know for now it's the last one in the series until  the author decides to write another one if he does.

I feel like I've been on a roller ride and this book didn't disappoint with its Gripping plot. I felt total anger while reading this. For two of the main chars. Humans can be so selfish at times. always caring about what matters at them and never What matters to other's doing what they think is right when it might actually not be the case at all.

Without giving the plot away, that's what angered me in this book. I feel sad now lost almost as I really want to find out what is going to happen. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for the next book in this amazing trilogy.

P.s Please excuse the spellings i'm still hungover from the weekend :p

Blake Crouch Wayward (wayward Pine's Trilogy 2)
Wayward - Blake Crouch

Welcome to Wayward Pines, population 461. Nestled amidst picture-perfect mountains, the idyllic town is a modern-day Eden...except for the electrified fence and razor wire, snipers scoping everything 24/7, and the relentless surveillance tracking each word and gesture.
None of the residents know how they got here. They are told where to work, how to live, and who to marry. Some believe they are dead. Others think they’re trapped in an unfathomable experiment. Everyone secretly dreams of leaving, but those who dare face a terrifying surprise.

Wow, I have to say I'm loving This series so far! The first book of the trilogy was so Intense! And this second edition fall's right in there with it. The plot is just crazy and it honestly makes me want to watch theTV series of this that fox Made.

It's like being on a roller coaster when you read this series it takes you up and down.

I mean bloody hell, I just can't get my head around why some chars in this book want to fuck it all up, then the peeps you think are good are truly not. I don't want to give too much away, but you really don't know where to stand or what to expect cause just when you do, the author has the char pull that carpet from under you.

I honestly can't wait to jump into the 3rd installment of these book's!

Pines (Wayward Pines #1) Blake Crouch
Pines - Blake Crouch

Secret service agent Ethan Burkewakes up in Wayward Pines, Idaho after a car crash. He has no ID or cell phone and there seems to be no way to reach anyone outside the city...

Honestly, what would you do if that happened to You?.... Think about it... Cause that's what I did. I Love book's that make you think when you're not reading them, and this book did that!

The plot is insane, I picked this book up thinking "shan, it's going be one of those who did it murder plots" It kind of is but isn't. But I will tell you this.... It will grab you and you will be addicted to it it was all I raved about the 3 days I read it lol!

It's all about the twist in this book absolutely off the hook I wasn't expecting that kind of vibe with this and I can't wait to watch the TV series of this!

I Really Did spend a whole hour in the pub as well explaining to my friend about this Polt in this book :P
