January's Reading Challenge ~ First Things First
This month you will read:
1 ~ a book with the word "One" or "First" in the title.
2 ~ a book by an author who is new to you.
3 ~ a book that is the first in a series.
4 ~ your first book of the year.
Now see how easy that is. All you have to do is read your very first book of the year and you've completed the January part of this year's challenge.
Or you can push yourself a little and choose one of the other prompts. Or two or three. The decision is yours.
Thanks for posting. I'm looking for some challenges this year.
I have my January book picked out. :)
One Door To Heaven by Dean Koontz
I have never read anything by him.

Welcome!
That's great that you already have a book lined up!
Thank you for letting me participate and forming group! I've been looking for a challenge. I really liked reading your challenge from last year. It's a really fun/great idea.:)
Well, I can handle January, at least! I can't make any promises about the rest of the year but I will give it a go :)
I like this idea, it sounds like fun and less pressure than most challenges can be.
Thanks for organising it!
Thank you, this I might be able to keep up with. I can at least do one book and feel like I completed a month !

Welcome, Bark's!
Yeah, I thought it would be nice having something that everyone could accomplish for January. We need to start the year off success!

I know what you mean about stressful challenges. I like ones that are fun and help me find books I wouldn't have otherwise read.
Glad to have you join us!

You're welcome, Yodamom. Glad you joined us!
I think reading should make us feel successful, not defeated. I hope this challenge will let anyone who joins have fun while finding some great books.

Thanks, Purr More. I'm glad you're here!
I'm really looking forward to seeing what books people select for the different prompts.
Alright, I think I am in. Sounds fun; thanks for coming up with it! :) Also, it sounds loads better than any of the challenges I have ever bandied about for myself, which I have never carried through with since even I could tell they were likely to cause me to never want to read again, given they were all at least as complex as this ridiculous sentence.

Welcome!
And lol at your complex sentence. I love it!
I will try this challenge, see how far I'll go. Sounds easy.
So how do I find this group from the regular dashboard? Where should I look to end up here?
