Yay!

I hope mine works as well.
I've completed my January book. Click on the title to go to my post.

Which city did you visit? Was it during the summertime or during Winter? Finland is a beautiful country and has different awesome things to look forward to during every season. :) I'm glad you loved it and have such great memories of my home country. :)

The name of the city was Tornio. I have a picture at the train station to prove I was there!

I went with a girl I had met traveling. I think it was the coldest I ever was on that trip (it was the end of October). Such fun memories!

I'm not sure how to add my review here? I tagged the challenge in it and provided the link above ( was I supposed to?). Sorry I'm not very computer literate:).

Emory's Gift by W. Bruce Cameron was not planned but ended up being my first read of the new year. I really enjoyed it though! I've never read anything by him before.

I am reading a book with the word "one" in it that is actually really good so I may be able to pull off two-three prompts this month. ( which is a complete surprise.) Fingers crossed. Though if I don't finish it it is nice to know I've completed January's challenge. :)

Way to go, BradyBooks!

No need to add your review here. Just linking is fine.

Here's the way to get a hot link:

1. Below you'll see buttons for bold, underline, etc. Use the one for addiing a url.

title

2. Copy the url and paste it where it says: url address

3. Type the name of the book where it says: title

That's it. When you post, it should show the title in green and clicking on it will take you to the post.

Thank you:)!!!

So sorry! I am unsure what I am doing wrong...it also, on mine does not have the word title when I use the url button? So sorry. Thank you for your time.

Good news BradysBooks, there seems to be something screwy because I just played around with linking to your review and while I did actually get it to work it wasn't displaying in the post the way it should have. Also I did a copy and past on the link that you have in post #54 and it worked.

so let's see what happens now.

Ok so this is weird everyone, when I click on anything that's green in this post it takes me to the review for 'A Boy and A Bear' go figure. Yep officially weird because I did a copy and paste on what BradysBooks has in post #54 made no changes to it whatsoever and it works. the second link is exactly the way I did the link for my review and it also works but neither of them are displaying properly. So I have no clue what's wrong but I don't think it's something you've done.

Thank you so much Bookfanatic!!! I really appreciate everything.
I tried all sorts of ways and couldn't get it to work on my end. Thank you so much too for getting it to work.
I thought for sure it was me ( sometimes I'm not very good at following directions:)) but good to know it might not have been. Hopefully it will work itself out.:)

You're very welcome. I'm thinking maybe a good idea if you send an e-mail to the help desk and let them know because the fact that it doesn't work on your posting and it works fine when I copy and paste it, doesn't display properly but the link is working is a little strange and maybe they can sort that out for you.

Good idea. I'll do that. Thank you:)
A Boy and a Bear

What you have to be sure you do is keep your url link within the quotation marks and the title inside the brackets. Otherwise it won't post correctly.

And keep it in the same order. What I do is copy the link and paste it into my comment here. Then I copy the code from below:

title

Then I recopy the link and paste it right between the quotation marks.

title

Then I type the title I want and paste it right between the brackets

Type your title here

Don't change the order of the code and keep your link within the quotation marks and your title within the brackets. It should end up showing only the title in green and when you click on the title, it should bring you to your post.

I always post my comment to check it and then edit it if it doesn't work properly. And believe me, it took me awhile to learn how to get a link to post correctly!

I'll just mention what I do when I link too - it might save time for someone. I type the title of the book into my post (i.e. "A Boy and His Bear"), highlight it, then hit the link button. That automatically puts the tag around what you highlighed. Then I just copy the link and paste into the tag, replacing URL but making certain the quotes remain.

Hope it helps.
A Boy and His Bear

I just tried it and it's an easier way than what I was doing (plus easier to explain).

Thank you!!!
