Well, well, well... we had bets going on how long it would take for Juicy and the gang to shit on their new comment policy Anne Rice supported. You all remember the new policy, right? I've underlined the areas they've broken just today.

(hide spoiler) (show spoiler)

Here was Rice's take on personal insults and Juicy pretending to agree.
(hide spoiler) (show spoiler)

This is what they've posted less than a week later.

What would Anne Rice think?

Emma is such a cutie pie. It must suck when her Good Karma mask comes off, now she is back at hating the world again.

What was it you said, Emma? Love not hate, right? Why don´t you relax a little, do something nice instead? Take a walk, or a hot bath, or read a good novel. I mean everything but your 1970´s alien porn for a change. How does it sound, Emma? Be a good girl, and be nice. Don´t you know that mean people suck? :)

And of course this Elle Davis proves she is one of the smartest chicks around. As Anon reposting her insults against Khanh while doing a little blame-shifting sure wins her alot of brownie points. But I sort of like it since the ugly green hate site "forgot" to post her initial BS where she attacked at random just because she was mad.

Flounce!
So basically Elle's response is "sorry not sorry". That fauxpology is more faux than apology. And the site continues to allow racist and ableist comments. They haven't changed at all.
Juicy and her buddies are such amateurs.

Wow! An author is publishing a book!!!

What's shocking is how all of my author friends have already published a book this year. Often more than one. Quite a few will also publish several more books before the end of the year. It's called treating writing as a job rather than a hobby like Elle Davis and Melissa Douthit.
Nope, Emma, you got it wrong again. You are not really interesting. Amusing, yes, for sure, but that is all there is. Oh, BTW, if I could *wink* I would (almost) "like" your support for one of your Carpet Bombers & Bullies. Or maybe you should read the ugly green hate site. That would certainly help to know who is friend and who is foe. :)

Did Melissa/Athena/Johnny approve it or is that something you came up with yourself? That´s nice for a Change.org. See, I am helpful like that and even dumb it down for you. ;-)

And nope, we are certainly a lot of things, like smart and bitches, but victims we are not.

It´s not your lucky day today, isn´t it? Oops again. :)

Candy Girl, I think we need to stop referring to EP by name. Calling her Whiny Author #2 is best since she loves the attention (hence her old Snot handle). If we ignore her, she might go away.

Amanda, speaking of sheep, here's another Juicy follower suffering from comprehension skills.

(hide spoiler) (show spoiler)

This supporter knows as well as Juicy that Davis posted an insulting comment on a dozen reviews. Only after ED realized she might pay a price for repeatedly attacking readers did she write her blog post. As Whiny Author #2 can attest, GR doesn't like when authors attack readers. That's why WA#2 deleted her blog posts when they were reported then flounced, only to return with her good karma lies. Oh, but why am I wasting my time with all these facts when it's more fun to rage babble like Juicy's crew?

She really tortures the English language, doesn't she?

Reply to post #1396 (show post):

Nospin, English isn't her first language and thinking isn't her full time concern. Put those together and you get Whiny Author #2.

Rage babblers gathering spot - so accurate.

GR was quick to begin deleting the author's inappropriate comments when they were reported. It only took about an hour. The author wrote her blog post after the first few had been deleted IIRC.

I feel sorry for her daughter. The author scolded her for one starring a book she read on her review space. It was only when that review drew comments that she found out about her mother's blog post. She really seemed like a good kid.
Juicy is rallying her sheep against Rick and she's super into Llewellyn lately. Rage makes strange bedfellows.

***Who the hell wants to read her emails? Eye roll.

Rage!!!!

WAH!!!
(hide spoiler) (show spoiler)

The important thing is Juicy is getting out and making new friends to replace all the ones she's alienated lately.
The next time anyone thinks of starting a dialogue with a Snot supporter, remember this comment.

(hide spoiler) (show spoiler)

How can this poster not understand why a person providing a product might care what their customers want? Doctors and mechanics provide specialized services. Yet who the hell goes to the doctor known for being an asshole or a mechanic known for doing poor work?

Authors provide an entertainment product. People don't need to read to survive much like they don't need to eat out. Shouldn't a restaurant owner care if no one is ordering a certain dish or their servers are providing poor service? Would a movie studio keep making movies that receive poor reviews and sales? How many times have we seen a celebrity do something to improve their image after a meltdown? They do this because they are a product and they need the masses (customers) to spend money on their work.

Also if authors shouldn’t care what their readers think, why the hell are Snot supporters always asking for “constructive criticism?”

The delusion is strong in this one.

Does he not realize what he says?
"Why is it that author behavior, attitude, and thoughts are controlled by readers?"
If he can't get his point across in a forum post, I have zero hope he can write anything worth reading.

Unless they are now blaming the readers for their behavior? I am behind; I didn't know the mind control device worked. ;)

Stop the Denny's Bullies! seems like the likely response from that crew.

A totally intelligent response. The rhetoric and behavior of that site's followers is truly baffling.
