BUBBLES DAY by Ally Nathaniel
Bubbles Day - Ally Nathaniel,Anahit Aleqsanyan Bubbles gets to do her favorite thing--blow bubbles. The illustrations are wonderful and colorful. The story is perfect for your 3-5 year old who is learning to read. My only complaint is that there was more information about the author than there was story. Bubbles deserves more space.

So cute! And "Bother!" from Pooh! The point gets made in a charming and quiet way. Did I mention how cute? Lovely art.

Enhanced Bublish delivers the same results - none
Three months ago, I responded to a free offer from Bublish to use their “e-book Author and Discovery Platform” for two weeks.

Bublish claims they can help you “promote your work and build your brand” with, among other things, “book bubbles,” excerpts of your work shared across social networks. These bubbles also allow you to share “the story behind the story,” similar to a director’s rough cut which Bublish claims “is a powerful way to build social proof with readers.”

I already had a Bublish experience shortly after it was launched a few years ago. I quit using the platform then because despite encouraging numbers regarding bubble views, profile views and conversions there were no sales.

When I logged in I was surprised to see previous bubbles for my novels Forest, and The Big Picture still on the site.

Since I was launching Cold-Blooded, Book 2 of the Mattie Saunders Series, that’s what I began promoting, but after a month, and still having free access to the site, I decided to repost the bubbles from The Big Picture.

Bublish provides a daily update of social metrics for the past 90 days on a member’s dashboard. I’ve just completed my current 90 day run posting almost every day and here are the results:

Bubble Views - 4891; Profile Views - 47; Conversions (which retailers users are visiting from your bubbles) - 161

Sorry to pop their bubble but again my use of Bublish did not result in a single sale, and neither did it generate any additional activity such as page views on Smashwords or visits to my author website over the three month period.

Today’s enhanced Bublish costs $99.00 a year or $9.99 a month. For a paid subscription you receive the opportunity to upload unlimited books, an author profile, social metrics, e-pub creator, exclusive programs (deals from their corporate partners) premium resources (tutorials, videos, etc.). You can also sign up as an Emerging Author and upload one book and post unlimited book bubbles free.

With the exception of posting unlimited books on Bublish, you can get everything else Bublish offers from other sites free.

The only benefit I gleaned from Bublish then and now, was condensing scenes into author insights (bubbles). It really hones your focus.

Stay calm, be brave, watch for the signs.

Release Day! Bubbles (Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Club #12 / Kirsten O'Shea Universe) Candace Blevins!
Bubbles - Candace Blevins

NOTE: Bubbles is a supernovel at 545 pages. This story can be read as a standalone if you haven't read the other books in the series or universe.

------------------------------------------

Lexi is late for her cosmetology class. She races another car for the only parking space close to her building -- and wins. She ignores the other driver's string of not-terribly-creative cursing and threats, and scurries to class. However, when she comes out hours later, she freezes when she sees members of the local gang sitting on the hood of her car, waiting.

Terrified, Lexi rushes back inside to call her sister, who works for the local MC. Ten long minutes later, her sister tells her to go to the athletic center and wait for some guys on bikes, who'll take her to her car and keep her safe.

Bubbles can't believe how tiny the girl with the pastel blue, pink, and purple hair is, and wants to lash out at anyone who scared her. He and Slick get her into her car and away from school, and Bubbles follows her home to be sure she's safe. When he realizes she lives in the heart of the gang's territory, his protective instincts kick in and he takes her home with him.

Lexi's nineteen and has been with two men her entire life. Bubbles is in his thirties and has had every sexual experience known to man. He's a felon who's spent serious time in prison and is still on parole. He's the last kind of complication she needs in her life, but for such a gruff, giant of a man, he's gentle with her. He makes her feel safe.

Little did Lexi know how drastically her life would change because she hit the snooze button one more time.

SUPER! That word applies to every part of this novel, it is long, thrilling and blazing hot…

Lexi and Bubbles singe readers and burn up the pages from the very first meeting with their sizzling chemistry and since these two strong, fascinating characters easily draw readers along with them as their relationship progresses, readers should prepare to feel the burn. The romance is daring and full of flames as the passion explodes from the pages although Bubbles and Lexi does have a few ups and downs throughout the relationship and the characters are easily understood and are easy to connect with making it easy for readers to really become caught up in the story.

The story is long but it flows smoothly with a fast paced that holds reader’s in its grip from start to finish and there is never a dull moment to be found. This is because of the all the passion and romance but also because of the dangerous and intense situation regarding the gang that has targeted Lexi, some intense emotional social interactions between new friends and some between family and of course the police who seem intent on locking the club and anyone that has anything to do with them up .

The thrills and excitement also comes from having the Rolling Thunder MC around because they are one hot and daring group of shifters but this stimulating story also portrays drastic life style changes as well as world altering modifications as it has some passionate encounters that stretches Lexi’s emotional world and how she embraces her life.

Readers won’t be able to get enough of Bubbles and Lexi as their story is a super enthralling and explosive one that keeps readers hanging on to the edge of their seat from the very beginning.

Candace Blevins has published more than forty books. She lives with her husband of 20 years and their two daughters. When not working or driving young teens all over the place, she can be found reading, writing, meditating, or swimming. The family’s beloved, goofy, retired racing greyhound is usually at her side as she writes, quietly keeping her company.

Candace writes Urban Fantasy, Paranormal Romance, Contemporary BDSM Romance, and a kick-ass Motorcycle Club series.

Her urban fantasy series, Only Human, gives us a world where weredragons, werewolves, werelions, and three different species of vampires exist, as well as a variety of other mythological beings.

Candace’s two paranormal romance series, The Chattanooga Supernaturals and The Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Club, are both sister series to the Only Human books, and gives some secondary characters their happily ever after. Her three paranormal series are written so you can read one series, or all three, should you prefer only a particular genre.

Her Safeword Series gives us characters who happen to have some extreme kinks. Relationships can be difficult enough without throwing power exchange into the mix, and her books show characters who care enough about each other to fight to make the relationship work. Each book in the Safeword series highlights a couple with a different take on the lifestyle.

Bubbles by Abby Cooper
Bubbles: A Novel - Abby Cooper

Abby Cooper's BUBBLES is the follow-up to her strong debut and surprisingly takes every aspect to the next level. I was amazed, chapter by chapter, just how good Cooper’s new middle grade novel truly is. BUBBLES has all the humor, magical whimsy, and lovable characters that were notable in her first outing, but manages to exceed expectations in terms of style, voice, and concept.

12-year-old Sophie has a lot on her plate: her mother is single (again), unemployed and depressed, her teacher is making her do a challenging project on risk-taking, her best friends convince her to do a triathlon with them, and she’s getting a crush on her childhood friend Rafael. To make matters more interesting, Sophie starts to see other people’s thoughts in balloons over their heads and finds out there are definite pluses and minuses to knowing what on people’s minds.

The concept works really well and draws the reader deeper into Sophie’s inner world with every revelation. Most of us can relate to thinking we can read other people’s minds at times, and it’s never more important than when in our young teens. The plot moves along nicely and gathers momentum with every relational complication. In the end, it comes down to learning about communication, and without saying too much more, the results are surprising, funny, and touching. I highly recommend this wonderful and inspiring novel.
