If Jake and Sandy had me at hello, Jason and Alex broke me at goodbye. Cherish proved to be a captivating follow up to an already irresistible series. What I love most about The Clark Family series is that it tackles everything from racist stereotypes to tempting romance and the beauty of what makes a family. At it's heart, LOVE, is the foundation for what unites these characters. No matter the color of their skin or the heartache in their lives, LOVE is what guides them through the rough spots. The carefree bachelor finds his soulmate despite the odds. The proof is in the tears. 

They are fallen from grace. A race once worshipped that had grown arrogant and greedy. Now they are few and spend their lives hunting the guilty and bringing them to justice. 

A sexy dream. Two hot, sensual lovers. More pleasure than she’s ever felt before. What more could a girl want?

The first book in the new Hunters series is a story that takes readers on one heck of a steamy and thrilling ride.

Lauren, Talin and Malik are solid, engaging characters that easily draw readers into their stories and hold them captive throughout. The romance is a bit rocky due to circumstances and some emotional difficulties which must be overcome and has the readers commiserating with them but the chemistry sizzles from each and every page and the sex scenes are steamy and panty melting worthy.

Suspense and anticipation build throughout the story as this fast paced story starts off with an intensity that grabs readers attention and doesn’t let go through one heart stopping moment after another while this threesome tries to come to terms with their situation and their mating circumstance. Will this threesome be able to achieve their ‘happily ever after or will fate be denied? This question keeps readers guessing until the very end and with some wonderful godlike surprises thrown in things stay interesting and readers don’t have any chance of encountering a dull moment.

The author did a great job of painting vivid imagery to make me feel as if I was a part of the story and I was enthralled from start to finish so I am looking forward to reading the next Hunters book.

Sailor Bishop is determined that nothing will get in the way of him and having a successful landscaping business. While on a job one day, he has a very hot meeting with a mysterious woman. When he keeps running in to her, he’s determined to sway her over to his way of thinking.

This was an ok book. Unfortunately I had a problem with the main female character Isa. She was very wishy washy and it tended to get on my nerves. I did really like Sailor, though, which helped make up for it. The story itself wasn’t bad.

Hard Play, Book 1

I Picked Up This Book Because: After reading Rock Hard I was curious about Gabriel’s brothers and I’m so happy Ms Singh has decided to tell their stories.

The Characters:

Isalind Magdalena Rain-Stefansdottir: Isa’s upbringing was ridiculously/needlessly lonely being the only child of people who were much too involved in their own lives to be bothered by raising a child. She wasn’t abused and she was taken care of but she was neglected by her parents...horribly. As an adult Isa has taken on the role as caretaker for her younger siblings (one half sister, one step brother that was not let go after their parents separated) She never wants them to feel as she did growing up and dearly dreams of having a family of her own.

Sailor Bishop: Is not without his own demons. When he looks in the mirror he sees much of the man who left his family behind without a thought of their well being or a penny in the bank. This leaves Sailor with plans to make sure he is never that kind of man but when he meets Isa he realizes his plans are nothing without her love in his life.

Catie, Nanya, Harrlow, Jake, Gabriel

The Story:
Told in alternate points of view Isa and Sailor have a few run ins before they can become the couple they are destined to be. I’m glad Sailor had the tenacity to hold on throughout Isa’s insistence that they wouldn’t make it. I’m also glad he sees that is little caretaker also needs someone to take care of her.
