Enchanted Warrior
Enchanted Warrior - Sharon Ashwood

Once upon a time, Arthur and his Knights, the witches, fae fought a war against demons. One of Merlin's spells had an unfortunate cost. It took the fae's souls and left them emotionless husks and power from the witches, reducing their power. Of course this lead to them becoming enemies.
Interesting take on the popular Arthur and Knight of the Round Table. Arthur and his knights were frozen/turned to stone and are awakened in the modern age to fight again. The difference is there are no longer in England. They are in the US. Washington to be more precise.
Gawain at first was not a likable character for me. I thought he was rude, demanding. I was also annoyed at the explanation for his adjusting to the modern age (magic). I like him by the end, but it took me the whole book to get there. I did like Tamsin; she was able to defend herself and showed her strength, kindness.
Gawain whole thought process where witches = bad got old. I also thought it interesting that modern day covens had strict rules- ie need permission to travel, they arranged marriages. Men have roles and women have theirs. Tamsin would be the first "Loremaster." This was never dived into and was nothing more than a few paragraphs.

Possessed by a Warrior
Possessed by a Warrior - Sharon Ashwood Chloe's uncle was murdered. She is one of the executors of his estate. A diamond encrusted wedding dress and how Jack came to have it is one mystery she needs help solving. Enter Sam, the other c0-executor of Jack's estate and Jack's trusted friend. I thought that Chloe was smart and resourceful. I liked how she could read people which works in her line of business (wedding planner). I didn't like how Sam tried to keep her in the dark at first. I thought this had a strong start, but then fizzled for me about 100 pages in and I started to lose interest.

Corsair’s Cove Chocolate Shop: The Complete Set
Corsair’s Cove Chocolate Shop: The Complete Set - Shelley Adina,Lee Mckenzie,Sharon Ashwood,Rachel Goldsworthy
Corsair's Cove Chocolate Shop is a collection of four novellas by four different authors - all sharing the same theme, one family and the town of Corsair's Cove. There are four cousins, Pru (Prudence), Livy, Brynn, and Eloise. These four are all very different from each other, but they prove that when things come to the crunch, they are there for each other. I will admit to Eloise's story being my favourite, but that is mainly down to Daniel Blackthorne! That 'dastardly pirate' wiggled into my affections, and I was on tenterhooks to find out what happened next.

These are all lighthearted, fun, stories that are guaranteed to satisfy. A good length so you can either read them all together, or sneak one in during your coffee break or lunchtime. All four stories are written very well, with no editing or grammatical errors that disrupted my reading flow. The town and the characters are all well described, leaving you with a longing to go there. In fact, there are a bunch of brilliant characters in here, but I'll leave it to you to read them and find out who I'm talking about.

I wasn't sure what I'd be reading, but I thoroughly enjoyed each and every word. Definitely recommended by me.

Rightwise king of?
Enchanted Guardian - Sharon Ashwood

So apart from my large plot stumbling point this wasn't bad.

My large plot stumble is the entire rightwise king of Britain and that if he returned at this time he would go to the USA? If ever Britain needed a leader to sort things out I'm sure a lot of British people would say it's now with Brexit and all the messes going on (brain wanders off on a plotbunny maze, takes a break from writing review to scribble notes) you would expect at least a passing reference to Britain and British Issues.  Still I'm going to park that quibble somewhat and move onto the story.

This is the second story in the series and I haven't read volume one.  Apparently Merlin did a spell that saved the fae and the mortal realms and in doing so turned the fae into soul-sucking emotionless monsters and drained the world of magic.  Now magic has returned to the world and the Knights of the Round Table are resurrected (and doing medieval reinactment, and wow did that tickle my funny bone) and they're finding the modern world interesting.

This is the story of Lancelot du Lac - calling himself Dulac at the moment and Nimueh who has always loved him, somehow she retained some of her soul and this means she can love but they had huge issues last time around.

Yeay for heros who respect boundries, (mostly and better than the last two I read from Nocturne) but the story seemed unsure of it's direction and purpose, characters seemed to just drift from one scene to another and honestly Arthur didn't come across as a great leader.

It's not a bad read but it didn't make me want to read the next in the series, I didn't really care for or about the characters and wasn't unhappy when I finished it.  Some of it was very good but it wasn't a good whole book.

Could use Paranormal, Vampire, Romantic Suspense, witches, demons and monsters, I'm going to go with Demons.  I liked the demon, he was nicely sarky.

Enchanted Guardian (Camelot Reborn #2) by Sharon Ashwood
Enchanted Guardian - Sharon Ashwood
Enchanted Guardian is the tale of two names that are familiar with anyone who has even the faintest inkling of the King Arthur legends - Lancelot du Lac and Nimueh. We last saw Nimueh in Enchanted Warrior when she helped Tamsin and Gawain. Subsequently, she is on the run from Morgan LaFaye. Even considering binding her magic to stop from being found, she nevertheless does one last discreet service to Arthur, and finds Lancelot's statue. Nimueh is planning on disappearing, but fate wants her and Lancelot to have a second chance, so the timing is always 'wrong'.

I love the mythology of Camelot, and by putting it into a modern setting, with the twist of the Fae losing their emotions, is simply wonderful reading! The story weaves itself around you, drawing you into a feud that is centuries old, but with fresh hurts.

It is incredibly well written, with a smooth and flowing pace. There are 'hot spots' where Lancelot and Nimueh spend time exploring each other again, but nothing too descriptive. With no editing or grammatical issues to contend with, I can definitely recommend this book to all fans of the legends of Camelot, or Fantasy/Romance fans.
