Scars and Secrets (Loose Ends Book 1) - Avril Ashton

I have been waiting for Levi Donovan Story since "Sinner Like Me", and at last here it is.

I expected to be over the moon on this story but unfortunately I didn't, I still loved the writing Avril Ashton can write her men in a very captivating and deep ways that made me love part of this book, but the biggest downside for me was that I didn't like the relationship dynamics between Levi & Van and that made me unable to connect to them on every level.

Overall the story was likeable to a degree and it was awesome to see all the boys again especially Israel and Reggie.

Captive Prince Volume One - C.S. Pacat

At last I delve into the world of Damen and Laurent, I bought these books as soon as they came out and has been setting in my e-reader for a while now but O never got around to reading them.

According to the summary of this book and everyone's review I thought I am going to love this but sadly I was mistaken.

This book was a disappointment to me, there was absolutely no connection between the Mcs, and there was too many secondary characters that added an annoying mystery to the book, the writing wasn't bad but I didn't like it either at times I felt lost.

However I kinda liked Damen a little which made me continue with the book and curious to know what is going to happen next.

I will read the rest of the series and hopefully the other books will be better and I will find what everybody is talking about.

Return to Me - James Oliver French

DNF @ 30%, No Rating

When the Mcs starts to become just words to me and I can't connect to them and be invested in their story, I know then that I should stop reading.

London Noir by Ann Girdharry
London Noir: A gripping crime suspense t... London Noir: A gripping crime suspense thriller (Kal Medi Book 2) - Ann Girdharry

Closure for the first book.
All the things that you felt left hung in Good Girl Bad Girl were answered and put to rest in this book. I did love that, and the new plot too, as well as feeling it's complete.
If Kal Medi is in  a third book, it would HAVE to be a new plot, story and everything. No questions were left raised in book 2.
It was more exciting for me, and that is rare for a second book to better than the first. I feel that was as this story had a beginning, middle and end, where the first book wasn't like that at all.
Really good stuff together though!! I know many of you will enjoy reading about Kal Medi and all that she gets herself into.

Blue Moon: Too Good to Be True - A.E. Via

This book was full of

And soooo

I know going into this book that it was insta love but this book is so over the top with eveything, the characters were so perfect and eveyone was wearing brands and expensive stuff and there was so many characters and plotlines, and what's with the excessive use of pet names everyone is calling each other "baby, honey, sweetheart,...etc".

This book is told in three parts:
Part one "Angel & Max" who told each other I love yous including actual tears the first time they had sex on their first date.

Part Two "Bass & Ryker" a Dom & Sub where the dom Bass collared the sub Ryker after spending one weekend with him.

Part Three "Kidnapping of Angel" was a complete Mind F**k with everyone going with guns blazing to rescue him.

Overall this book has disaster written all over it from the begging and it was not a great read for me.
