Why I travel with a Kindle

Seriously, I know that for some, the feel, smell and tactile joy of paper is hard to give up, but if you're on the road, it's awfully nice to be able to load up an ereader with all the books you think you may need. (This is always more than I can possibly read in the time allotted, but hope springs eternal.)

I bought two cases for my Nook today! (well technically it’s not my Nook; it’s my little sisters but she got in trouble and got it taken away temporarily so I kind of “inherited” it lol). These were both made to look like books, a composition notebook and a fancy hardback; they were really cheap too!

I’ve only ever used the Nook to get on the internet when I’m too lazy to get on my computer lol. I’m really not a fan of ereaders because I enjoy the feel of a real book and screens hurt my eyes after a while but one of my bookish goals for this year is to read at least 2 ebooks just to see how I like it.

Books in XXI century

Perfect supplement to my recent post: Will book become an e-reader that doesn't work?
