Phew. I love it when a favorite author steps out of their comfort zone and throws some erotic hotness in your lap. This was tasty.

Gaaahhh...three different scenarios and equally enjoyable. While I enjoyed the story of the first two more than the third, the POV style of the third made this one equally enjoyable.

Definitely will be rereading this one at some point. YUM!

Oh this was yummy. I hate it ended so soon as these two had some pretty great chemistry and I’d have loved to see them in several more scenes together. Definitely a fabulous shortie.

I loved this.  

While short, Keira packs the emotional punch with this historical voyage through the Canadian wilderness.  

Set in 1793, this story follows the thousand mile journey of two men who over the course of their journey develop a relationship unlike either have ever experienced.  

He didn’t know how to feel. Exhilarated. Embarrassed. Apprehensive. Excited. Confused.

Fulfilled.

Simon was puzzled. “Like you?”

“You wouldn’t want a woman even if there was one here.”

“No. I wouldn’t.” Simon was thrilled. Could Christian feel the same way he did? Did he sense the bond between them growing ever stronger?

“The others I’ve met, they…they weren’t like us. For them it was just to fill a void. A need. Nothing more. They’d choose a woman if they could.”

Simon pressed their lips together, wishing he could see Christian’s eyes in the gloom. “I’ve never wanted a woman. And I want every part of you.”

Discovery.

And yet, this one ended too soon, as all shorts do.  I could have continued with this for many many more pages.

This was sweet and for the shortness still managed to have a lot included. A friends to lovers story. No angst but lacking in dual POV. While the infatuation of Cooper is more than clear, Cooper's intentions are not and while I knew this would ultimately end up with a HEA of sorts, it seemed Cooper may just be the player he is known to be. Things escalated rather quick and awkwardly for me. 

Bonus for Ms PAC-MAN reference...I love that arcade game. ❤️❤️

Note: While definitely short, these 19 pages must have had tiny font as this felt more like 40. 

A quick read with some sweet scenes. 

Was risking my friendship with my best friend worth it?

Well...with NR Walker writing your story you better damn well risk it.  My heavens...not even 10% into this shortie and I was totally taken with these two.  Once again, Ms Walker has been able to capture true love and an undeniable connection between her characters beautifully well.  

His gaze met mine, a mix of uncertainty and longing. I brought my other hand up to his cheek, touching him as if he were made of glass. I leaned in slowly, his breath hitched and his eyes fluttered closed, and just before our lips met, I stopped. This moment, I’d waited years for this… I took everything in. His face, the smell of him in the rain, his pink lips so close to mine, and that nervous, heart-stopping almost-kiss perfect moment.

If you are new to Ms Walker then by all means...take the risk and go for it here.  And if you love everything Walker writes, as I do, then don't miss out on this amazingly hot and touching shortie.  You will not be disappointed!
