I can't believe we already are in August. This year is just flying by so fast. July was an okay month reading-wise not great but not bad either I got most of my reads in and are doing fairly well with keeping up on the review-copies.
Beginning of the month was a bit wonky, since I had some heath issues to deal with, but that is all cleared up and I'm as good as new if not better, but that of course took some reading time away from me. But I was happy to see not as much as I thought it would lol. I got most of my ARCs done, now I just need to get around posting my reviews lol.
August I will leave open for goals, since some great books are coming to us in August and some I've been waiting on what feels like forever.
Here are some of the books I'm looking forward to:

Now the book I look most forward but also the least is Magic Triumphs by Ilona Andrews , the final book in the Kate Daniels Series. I can;t wait to see how it is all wrapped up, but at the same time I will be sad to see the series end. It is one of my all time favorite series after all.
One series ends another starts. We get a new book, in a brand new series from Chloe Neill, Wild Hunger. It's a spin-off series of the Chicagoland series and will follow Elisa, the Daughter of Ethan and Merit.But also Connor who is Gabriel Keene's son. I already had the pleasure to read the ARC and can tell to you guys it is amazing and surprisingly fresh for being in the same world. I loved it and can't wait to own a copy and add them next to all the other Chicagoland books :)
Currently I'm still slowly working on The Mime Order by Samantha Shannon, it really is a great book so I'm not sure what is taking me so long other than I don't have much time and am reading more than one book at the time ;) But I'm almost done with it
I'm also reading A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness, which is okay.
Next I was thinking, taking a book I had on my TBR forever before I dive into some August and review copies, I think I will start Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi, we shall see.
