Readers can’t help but become caught up in this thrilling new paranormal romance as the strong characters easily captivate readers with their story. Laura and Valentino have lots of chemistry and are made for each other even though Laura has some compelling and emotional reasons for holding back. The relationship is extremely moving and full of emotional events that make it easy for readers to really get to know the characters and their motivations.

The plot is fast paced and flows smoothly throughout the story as readers are thrilled with all the suspense and action as enemies stalk the demon race and the humans they consider to be hybrids. There is quite a few unexpected twists that keep the readers on their toes and some surprises that add to the spice and emotional intensity of the story. The author has created a fascinating world with some unique Demon elements that should make for a promising and refreshing different series that readers will be looking forward to. Although the dialogue is a bit choppy at first, it soon smooths out and readers find themselves glued to the pages of this entertaining read.
