Release Week Review! Wolf Bound (Pack Bound #4) Leisl Leighton!
Wolf Bound (Pack Bound) - Leisl Leighton

The ultimate sacrifice, a love that lasts forever…

Five hundred years ago, facing extinction, a group of powerful witches united to create a pact with the Were to save witch–kind. The pact expelled an ancient evil, known only as the Darkness, that was blocking the Were from their wolves. With the Darkness destroyed, the Packs and their Covens grew strong as they thrived beside each other in their brand–new world.

But the Darkness was not destroyed.

Shelley Conners has good reason to hate and fear the powers that connect her to the spirit world and the insanity they foretell. But with the Pack's Trickster, Adam McVale, transformed into a Shade, a creature caught between life and death, Shelley holds the only key to saving him. Opening herself up to the world of the dead will only speed up her descent into madness, but Shelley never expects an even darker evil within – the Darkness, waiting patiently for her and the opportunity to destroy the world.

The conclusion to the Pack Bound series is a thrilling read that kept me on pins and needles throughout the book.

All the characters in this four book series are strong, compelling and easily draw readers in their story but I have to say that Shelley and Adam captured my attention from the beginning and Wolf Bound which finally tells their story certainly brings them to full and vivid life. They both have issues that readers can relate to and while they seem to be the most vulnerable, they both have very strong wills and strength of character that keeps readers completely enthralled. Their romance is sweet but so full of obstacles and hardships that the happily ever after outcome that readers are hoping for is held in suspense throughout the book.

Thrills and chills keep the readers on the edge of their seat with anticipation and wonder as the evil that threatens the weres and the witches grows and its plans solidifies into one that if successful will plunge the world into darkness and chaos. There is never a dull moment to be found in this medium to fast paced plot that has lots of suspense building events with all the characters working hard to find a way to stop the evil, but Shelley and Adam’s part in this battle has readers biting their nails during the entire story.

I was looking forward to this book as I have read the previous books and of course was impatiently awaiting the conclusion and I have to say that not only was Shelley and Adam’s story well worth the wait, but the author did a great job of answering all questions regarding the battle they are facing but the final outcome was one that is spectacular, exciting and very fitting for this series and there was no way that I could put this story down until I had read every last word.

Release Day Review! Shifter Bound (Pack Bound #3) Leisl Leighton!
Shifter Bound (Pack Bound) - Leisl Leighton

One pack, one coven, a destiny intertwined...

Five hundred years ago, facing extinction, a group of powerful witches united to create a pact with the Were to save witch-kind. The pact expelled an ancient evil, known only as the Darkness, that was blocking the Were from their wolves. With the Darkness destroyed, the Packs and their Covens grew strong as they thrived beside each other in their brand-new world.

But the Darkness was not destroyed.

Shifter-Witch Eloise O’Brien has betrayed her Coven and almost killed her brother to save the Were Pack she’d infiltrated as a spy. Now living with the Were she once feared and hated, she learns the truth of who she really is—the prophesied Nexus. A witch of unspeakable power, she must make a choice between the light and the dark, between Iain McShane, the Lone Wolf she is coming to love, and her once beloved brother and Coven who are now working for the Darkness.

The intriguing Pack Bound saga continues in another thrilling romance that keeps readers on the edge of their seat as the wolves and the witches struggle to accept the changes that are taking place in the pack and with the never ending attacks by their evil nemesis.

All the characters in this series are strong and compelling, easily captivating readers with their lives and their romances and Eloise and Iain have a strong sizzling attraction that is pulls them together but their romance is full of strife and upheaval that tugs at readers’ heartstrings and keeps them fully invested in the story emotionally as well as being kept intrigued with every things that is going on.

The suspense and intrigue of all the exciting events that take place in this story keeps readers on the edge of their seat with anticipation as well as keeping them wondering just how the pack will overcome all the adversity and insecurities that flow from the pages as their enemy comes up with new ways to kill off the pack and anyone who gets in their way. There is lots of twists and turns to ensure that the readers can’t possible guess what will happen next.

I was completely caught up in the suspense of the story as well as this emotionally turbulent romance where both the hero and heroine seem to think that neither has a chance at a ‘happily ever after’. This series continues to enthrall me and their enemy continues to incite some very strong emotions from me as well, so needless to say I can’t wait to find out what happens in Moon Bound which is supposed to be released next month.

Release Day Review! Moon Bound (Pack Bound #2) Leisl Leighton!
Moon Bound (Pack Bound) - Leisl Leighton

Only her love can heal his broken soul...

Wiccan Healer-Witch Bronwyn Kincaid wants a quiet life. Her new powers have other ideas. Her increased healing magic and empathy mean she can’t ignore the plight of River Collins, a wolf brought up thinking the animal inside him is an evil he must forever suppress. If Bronwyn can’t control her powers and help River accept his wolf, the evil Darkness that hunts the Were will use them to destroy those they love.

I have to say that the Pack Bound series is off to a great start, the first book Pack Bound was an exciting read and now Moon Bound is one thrilling read that had me glued to the pages.

Bronwyn and River are strong, compelling characters that readers can’t help but fall for and cheer them on toward their happily ever after, their romance is full of emotional turbulence and the story invokes a gamete of feelings in readers throughout. The romance is sweet and the chemistry between Bronwyn and River has sparks flying but due to several issues has them both turning away which certainly keeps readers filled with suspense.

The plot is fast paced and full of thrills, intrigue and danger with the pack’s enemies coming back to try and destroy them once again adding suspense and excitement to story while also keeping reading readers on the edge of their seat with anticipation of just what those enemies will do next and what the Pack will do in retaliation. Oh and the antagonist is one that still sends shivers down my spine and has me continually trying to guess just what she is going to come up with next.

The Pack Bound world is definitely fascinating and full of intrigue which ensures that I am going to keep coming back for more, but while I find some things unexpected, there are a couple of predictable elements but not enough to keep me from enjoying the story and I can’t wait to visit with Pack McVale again in Shifter Bound which will be released in April.

Pack Bound - Leisl Leighton

One pack, one coven, a destiny intertwined...

Five hundred years ago, facing extinction, a group of powerful witches united to create a pact with the Were to save witch-kind. The pact expelled an ancient evil, known only as the Darkness, that was blocking the Were from their wolves. With the Darkness destroyed, the Packs and their Covens grew strong as they thrived beside each other in their brand-new world.

But the Darkness was not destroyed.

Skye Collins has been brought up to fear her magic and shy away from witch and Were alike. But when Jason McVale, the Alpha of Pack McVale, comes in search of her, she is intrigued and tempted. Her mistrust of magic and wariness of the intensity of passion she shares with Jason threatens her control—and if she loses control, she just might turn into the weapon the Darkness intended her to become all along.

Wow! I have found a new author to read! Leisl Leighton brings readers a new paranormal romance series – Pack Bound - about a symbiotic relationship between wolves and witches and a group that would do anything to destroy their bond.

In the first book – Pack Bound – we find the Alpha of Pack McVale searching for their pack witch but what he ends up finding is so much more.  Jason and Skye are strong, captivating characters with some electrifying chemistry that readers can feel sparking from every page. Their romance however is full of turmoil and obstacles that the couple must overcome in order to have their ever after which inspires readers to empathize with the couple while adding depth to the story.

Suspense and anticipation builds throughout the fast paced plot that is full of thrills, secrets and danger which keeps readers on the edge of their seats while unforeseen twist and turns throughout keeping them guessing. The magic in the story adds excitement and just who the bad guys are is anyone’s guess until the disclosure and the antagonist is one that sent shivers down my spine and the plans are the stuff of nightmares.

Leisl Leighton has created a world full of intrigue and captivating characters that draw you into the story and hold readers hostage until the very end. I was certainly spellbound throughout and I can’t wait to read the Moon Bound, which will be released in a couple of weeks.
