Growing pains
Make it Count - Megan Erickson

Alec does not want to find his best friend's girl attractive.  Lately it has been so much more.  Now, they share a secret.  Will it help or hurt the already tense situation?

Katia AKA Kat knows her time is almost up with her boyfriend.  She only keeps men around to avoid getting lonely.  Alec offers more, even dreams of a future.  If she can be brave maybe the future is already here.

Started off slow, but then got going so well I was not sure how to react.  This story is what most would call a slow burn.  I love the heat, heart, and humor.  These characters are some I would love to see again.  Loved how such a tense subject was handled.  I cannot wait to read more in the Bowler University series!  I give this story a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

The Student Prince - FayJay
So this is hands down the best fan faction I've ever read. Since I'm a fan of the Arthur legend this was right up my alley. I mean really a retelling of King Arthur at a magic school with the focus on a M/M couple.be still my heart. It was so fluffy, and the humor was amazing. How are you not published.

Review: "Carry the Ocean" (The Roosevelt, #1) by Heidi Cullinan
Carry the Ocean - Heidi Cullinan

"I am normal. I belong. I have a friend who can kick ass from a wheelchair. I live independently and get good grades. I’m an excellent lover.

Like I said. I’m awesome. I’m Emmet David Washington. Train Man. The best autistic Blues Brother on the block."

I love this book more and more with every reread.

Best fit
True Souls (The Soulmates Series Book 2) - Michele Gantz

This story is a prequel for the acclaimed Entwined Souls.  I recommend reading them in order, if possible.  Prepare for a burning hot read!

Michelle AKA Belle meets Jax after school from a new friend.  The instant connection is off the charts.  The air literally sizzles when they are in the same room.

Jax wants to stay away.  She is young, a friend to his sister.  The urge to be with her is clawing under his skin.  He wants to protect her.  The kisses are molten.  She is his.

This was such a fast paced read!  So much going on, and bless this author, with the flashbacks - it is easier to understand.  I loved the chemistry, even though it was quick.  Sometimes love just is.  I give this book a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

"Ryan continues her streak of amazingly accessible and authentic romantic fiction. Grip is a bold and unapologetic look at interracial romance and does not shy away from any of the ideals and prejudices that most of us are too polite to acknowledge - head on- amidst one of the sexiest, and provocative true love romances Ryan has penned to date. Break out the fans folks, Grip is aptly titled and sure to make you need a grip! -- Sheena, Smexy Books

FLOW, The GRIP PrequelFLOW, The GRIP Prequel by Kennedy Ryan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Marlon AKA Grip, meeting Bristol is full of laughter and tears. Right out of the gate, this prequel for the upcoming story in Grip is moving. Bristol comes to visit her brother, and Grip's best friend in California while she is on spring break.

Bristol wants to repair things with her brother. Since his best friend is interesting and makes her think, they get to know one another. The chemistry between these two - it's off the charts!

I really loved these characters in the previous Soul series books. I am thrilled to see their story come alive. I enjoyed reading it and eagerly devoured each page. This book is the prequel and I am really excited to read the next book!

Blurb:

In 8 years, Marlon James will be one of the brightest rising stars in the music industry. Bristol Gray will be his tough, no-nonsense manager. But when they first meet, she’s a college student finding her way in the world, and he’s an artist determined to make his way in it. From completely different worlds, all the things that should separate them only draw them closer. It’s a beautiful beginning, but where will the story end?

FLOW is the prequel chronicling the week of magical days and nights

that will haunt Grip & Bristol for years to come.

GRIP is the full-length conclusion of their story available March 2 here: http://kennedyryanwrites.com/grip/

Blurb:

Resisting an irresistible force wears you down and turns you out. I know. I’ve been doing it for years. I may not have a musical gift of my own, but I’ve got a nose for talent and an eye for the extraordinary. And Marlon James – Grip to his fans – is nothing short of extraordinary. Years ago, we strung together a few magical nights, but I keep those memories in a locked drawer and I’ve thrown away the key. All that’s left is friendship and work. He’s on the verge of unimaginable fame, all his dreams poised to come true. I manage his career, but I can’t seem to manage my heart. It’s wild, reckless, disobedient. And it remembers all the things I want to forget.
