Cover Reveal - Bent

BENT BLURB:

Ember-Raine Winters’ Bent is a sexy, fast-paced, heartwarming, sports contemporary romance written in K. Bromberg’s Driven Worlds project.

Andy Mahone has been lying to the whole world. She isn’t a PR manager. She is the hot new driver on the block.

After a career-ending accident, Devlin is ready to move out of the spotlight. When a friend offers him a job on the crew of a prominent racer’s team, he jumps at the chance. But the feisty and beautiful PR rep from another team is all he can think about.

Though they both know being together can’t work, neither can resist the pull. But Andy’s secret looming between them doesn’t just pose a danger to their relationship—if her secret got out, it could endanger her very life.

Staying
Dare To Stay - Carly Phillips

This is book #4, in the Dare Nation series.  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this series in order.

Braden knew coming home would have its challenges.  Having been abroad for two years working with Doctors Without Borders, moving home was going to be difficult.  Little did he know it feel the same as soon as his arms were around a certain someone.......

Willow has trust issues that stem from a childhood inside the foster system.  She said goodbye to Braden when he left and never looked back.  To trust him again would not only be foolish, but could rally lay her out flat.  Does she dare to confront the feelings that are still there between them?

This book started off the ground running.  I loved each page, and eagerly turned to read on.  These characters were so easy to root for.  They genuinely seem to really care for one another and their story feels very solid and pace was just right on. I feel like this is the authors best work so far.  I give this story a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Treasure
Ride the Tide - Julie Ann Walker

This is book #3, in the Deep Six series. This book can be read as a standalone.  For reader enjoyment, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading the series in the order intended.

Alexis wants Mason and she has made no secret of it.  Her uncontrollable attraction appears one sided, but he shows her repeatedly with though and deed that is not so.  Only they have to dodge attempts on their lives and search for treasure while keeping themselves apart.

Mason has no idea what to do with Alex.  One minute she is the smartest, most beautiful woman he has ever known, and the next she is the most cunning sexpot alluring him with her honest mouth.  Can they survive it all?

The pace of this book moves very fast as there is much inside.  Lots of surprises for the reader, as well as a burning heat between the main characters that may move the reader to need a fan.  The gang is all here in this one, and the new installment is satisfying, if not a slow burn.  I give this a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Building
Tools of Engagement - Tessa Bailey

This is book #3 in the Hot & Hammered series. This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader to enjoy and avoid spoilers, I would recommend reading the series in order.

Bethany likes to have her life in order.  She prides herself on the ability to be the best at what she does.  Then the one man who can spin her whole life out of control is the one who volunteers to help her when it counts.

Wes is glad to have a good job and be appreciated.  He also has been trying to get Bethany to go out with him for so long.  Now they must work together and dating and more is off the table.  Better to help her get her business off the ground.

This story was a slow burn.  The attraction between the characters is obvious from the beginning.  The book picks up pace, and so does the main characters.  Then they are invited to do more and add humor, and well I cannot spoil it.  I give this a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Inevitable
Face Offs & Cheap Shots - James Saxon,Eden Finley

This is book #2 in the CU Hockey Series.  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this in order intended.

Jacobs & Beckett are both up for the position of Team Captain.  The leaders believe in competitive motivation, apparently.  Now the two men must spend more time together than they ever had in the past.

Is it inevitable that they would learn to appreciate one another in more than just the standard ways?  Beckett normally just annoys Jacobs to the point of insanity.  Now the attraction is making it hard to keep their secret, or their hands to themselves.

I am thoroughly enjoying this series.  These characters are fun, serious, incredible, deep, and more.  I found this story to be fascinating and honestly cannot wait for the next book in the series.  I give this a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
