The characters are strong, warm and easily captivate readers with their story and the chemistry between Thea and Savage is all consuming but while the relationship may be fated it’s not guaranteed which keeps readers in suspense. The fast paced story has thrills and excitement building from the very first as Thea sets out on a quest to be helpful and ends up having to face the jaguar queen and her malicious daughter for the right to keep her man. Some unexpected surprises and a jaguar world with a few quirks keeps readers well entertained.

Her university job interview goes south and Cassie Wade isn’t certain she’ll ever find work in her field of Native American Culture. This time travel historical fantasy romance is a magical, stirring read. The characters are bold and stand out which makes it easy for readers to become caught up in their story and while Carrie and the three men have lots of chemistry, the relationship hinges on whether can accept her new life or not which has lot of emotional turbulence flowing from the pages.

The plot is steady paced and provides readers with a vivid picture of the setting, the characters and the situation which just makes this story life like and easily enjoyed as they feel as if they part of the story. While this story is a little on the short side, readers can’t help but enjoy the magical twist to a happily ever after in an unlikely but definitely passionate way.

The Necklace Chronicles is a fascinating paranormal world with unique elements that add flair and intrigue to the stories so that along with the strong, compelling and charming characters has readers coming back for more. Of course, I find that R.E. Butler has a gift for creating wonderful, vibrant worlds that pull readers in and give them red hot passion right along with wonderful plots so it wasn’t any wonder that I was completely captivated with this one.
