Game Changer (Wynn Hockey #5) by: Kelly Jamieson
Game Changer (Wynn Hockey #5) - Kelly Jamieson

Game Changer by Kelly Jamieson

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

It's a challenge to read hearts. Yet, Jamieson continues to accept that challenge by proving herself quite adept at doing so. Game Changer brings back one of my favorite families. The Wynns are always welcome on my bookshelves. From their grace of character to their strength of heart, they don't hesitate to make an impression. However, it's the least seen amplified flaws in their character that continue to draw me. Foolish pride, huge ego and fear of vulnerability are a constant when dealing with a Wynn. Molly and Jackson are the lastest in a long line of unlikely matches. They shouldn't work, but you so what them to. Unpredictable is a beautiful thing when you are getting to know your heart.

Growing
For the Win (Wynn Hockey, #4) - Kelly Jamieson

This is book #4, in the Wynn Hockey series.  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  To avoid spoilers, and to fully understand & appreciate the series, I recommend reading these in order.

Harrison AKA "Harry" has found the woman he wants to marry.  Too bad she won't give him even the simplest coffee date.  He is not sure what he has done to turn her off.  Maybe he tried too hard?

Arya has trauma and secrets in her past that she really does not want to share with anyone else.  Her best friend knows and that is enough.  If only she wasn't really attracted to a certain hockey hottie who makes her temperature rise!

This story is told with kindness and humor.  I was impressed as it has some controversial topics that it touches on.  Very realistic, yet such a great story.  The heat is on!  This read was definitely hot, as it should be when we talk about hockey players.  I loved the banter, and the characters brought both gentle and sexy out to play.  I consider this a great read and an excellent addition to the series.  I give this read a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Full steam ahead takes on a whole new meaning when describing a Kelly Jamieson novel. Harrison and Arya are hot enough to set the heart racing, the hormones raging and tempers flaring. Prepare for an uphill battle that will turn up the heat with a bit of hard to resist charm.

Wynn Hockey #3
Win Big (Wynn Hockey, #3) - Kelly Jamieson

This newest addition to the Wynn Hockey series brings us Everly and Wyatt, the good girl and the good-time guy. Except things aren't always as they seem, and there's more to both of them than what people see on the surface. This one is a bit more serious than what we've seen in the series, but Kelly Jamieson's wit is still present, especially in the banter between Wyatt and Everly. Both characters are likable and relatable, and their chemistry comes through even when they're butting heads. Win Big also focuses more on the Wynn family dynamic than the gameplay, so if you've followed the series, you get to catch up with past favorites in addition to falling in love with this couple. As this is part of a series, it should be noted that this book can stand on its own. There is a continuing story of upheaval within the family, but it isn't hard to figure it all out with the information the author gives us. There's also a handy little who's who in the front of the book to help keep the family members straight. As for this one, the story is engaging, the characters are well-drawn and likable, and it's a good mix of serious and not so serious. All in all, a solid addition to the series.

Release Blitz - Win Big

Life is short, and you’ve got to live it to the fullest. I learned that the hard way. So on the ice, I always play to win, and on the town, fun and flirting are my game. Because it’s better to laugh your way through the pain than to let them see you’re hurting—but I’ll never stop wishing I could find someone to share the real me with. Something about Everly Wynn makes me think she could be the one. But all she sees is a hockey jock hooked on good times. If she didn’t take herself so seriously, maybe she would take a chance on being happy.

Everly Wynn:

As the only daughter in the Wynn family of hockey heroes, I never shared the ice with my brothers—or the approval they got from my father. And that was before the scandal that ruined my life at sixteen. Now that I’ve put all that behind me and built a successful career, the last thing I need is another hockey player in my life. Especially one like Wyatt Bell. He’s an arrogant, fast-living party boy. I hate how he gets by on his good looks and charm. So why can’t I get him out of my mind?
