In groups: a text editor for the first post in discussions and comments (the same as that for posts)?
I'd love to have an official tutorial on how to create themes, listing what's needed, why, how to edit, and some examples.
Someone's probably already noted these - if so just add my yes vote to the list! I've found ways to do the following, but I think they need to be easier to manage or even find out about, so at least they should be added to the FAQ.

1) Easier way to change edition of the book - example: my first search results find paperback versions and all my books are ebooks. (I've found ways to do this now, but it's still not intuitive)
- I've been mainly keeping track of my ebook collection via shelves since the edition I may have on those shelves might be incorrect
- it's important to me to use my bookshelves as a way to track what I ALREADY own - so that I don't accidentally purchase a book I already have (especially when the book covers are changed)

2) Easier ways to discover books by author or by what people I'm following have read
- if I've read one book by an author my next move is to see what else they've written - I look at an author page, and then I like to see if anyone I know has reviewed them.
I agree. If I love a book I like to see what else the author has written and it seems impossible to look at what other books the author has written, or seeing if there are other books in that style.
Hello everyone and thanks for everything so far BookLikes. I agree with most suggestions here, but I think that
a) integrating a book search function within each user's shelf
b) enabling editing of books (instead of deleting and re-adding them) and
c) having the ability to see all reviews of a book in one place, no matter how many editions of it there are (otherwise things look quite fragmented, don't you think?)
are some of the most important features missing.

Another thing that I would like to see is the author's name being clickable in the book page and again, having the ability to modify the details on the author's page (eg: add cv, connect book titles, quotes, other writing, etc).
Any chance of status updates?
Ability to bulk add tags to your books?

You can do this now. Go to shelf click on table view and select the books you want to add tags to. There is a 'add to shelves' menu right above the list of your books. Click and then choose the shelves you want to add your books too. Hope that helps!

Thanks Cassandra - but I want to bulk add tags, not shelves. In BL, they're actually two different things. :)

Do you mean tags to review blog posts? I assumed you meant shelves because you wanted to add tags to books. If you meant bulk tagging blog posts, I completely agree!

Yep, sorry, I wasn't clear. I'd like to be able to bulk tag blog posts.
More affiliate options (Wordery, Bol.com)

More Dutch sellers: Bol.com (largest online store of the Netherlands), www.Polare.nl (merge of major stores De Slegte and Selexyz)

"More affiliate options [and] More Dutch sellers"

Seconded for Germany and, for that matter, France. Hugendubel and Mayersche Buchhandlung in Germany, FNAC in France ...

Also, for some independence from book seller data, how about additionally sourcing books through the big national library systems? Library of Congress (U.S.), Deutsche Nationalbibliothek (Germany), Bibliothèque nationale (France) - etc.
I would like to be able to search for books by ISBN, please.

"I would like to be able to search for books by ISBN, please."

You already can. If you don't get a search result with the book seller preset in the search bar at the top of your dashboard page, switch to another book seller and try sourcing the book through them. (It works, I just double checked.)
