When people meet psychics, the first thing that always comes to their minds is whether or not they’ll believe that such people exist. Of course people would be skeptical at first. But it is better to give psychics the benefit of the doubt. Take time to know more about them, about their craft.

 

Psychics are called psychics because of their psychic abilities. Now, psychic ability is another subject that most people are skeptical about. But if people take time to do some research, they would know that psychic abilities are real and the fun part is; everyone has them.

 

Oftentimes, intuition is called the doorway of psychic abilities. Nope, intuition cannot be related to the five human senses. It is a sense of its own.

 

Intuition can be that feeling that a person has but is hard to explain logically. It is an awareness of a fact or a reality that you know can happen but cannot explain how. A good example for this is when you feel like something good or something bad will happen and it does. Another example is when you meet a person for the first time and you get either a positive or negative feeling about that person. That is called intuition.

 

It can be described as a gutfeeling towards a certain person, situation or an upcoming event.

 

Now, here is a favorite question that skeptics they like to ask all the time: If you can see the future, why aren’t you rich or haven’t won the lottery yet?

 

The answer would be difficult to find and it is much easier to understand that psychics and all the people in general are here to experience a variety of life lessons. Psychics understand that sometimes most people are not supposed to be rich or successful.

 

In general, psychics can help you understand a problem and help give you a great input. But one should also know that since problems are caused by diverse roots, it is only natural that the solutions, if any, also have to be diverse.

 

They can help you understand why you are in a particular situation and their advice can help shift your attitude towards a positive one.

I received this book to give an honest review.
I have been hearing a lot about books that deal with stepbrothers and at first I was like say what? I didn't understand the hype. That is until I received this book, then I knew what everyone was talking about. I feel like I am behind on the times of what readers like lol. But any who on to the review.

Brielle and Carter have been friends since they were little and in a sandbox. Carter has always liked her and even approached her one time to ask her out which she turned him down. How sad right? Because then she ends up dating some other guy. We read as Brielle goes through life goading Carter along and like a lost little puppy he follows her. We see as Brielle slowly self destructs and it seems like Carter the good guy is always there for her if and when she needs him even though it breaks his heart. I so wished that Carter would just find someone else but Brielle is always on his mind.
Brielle is one of those girl characters you want to feel sorry for but at the same time you wanna cut the b.... for hurting such a good guy that any woman would love to be with.
As time progresses Brielle's mother and Carter's dad end up marrying and hence this is how they become step-related. Even though the parents are married that doesn't stop Brielle from torturing poor Carter.
Then tragedy hits the family and Brielle runs off leaving Carter to clean up the mess. Carter's life is no longer how he expected it to be and he becomes in charge. We watch as Carter grows up and becomes a man but Brielle is never too far from his mind. And of course we all know what happens next the girl comes right back into his life and they go back through the up and down and all around. But with her being back will they even be together or will Carter be left by himself?

I have to say this was a great book and I enjoyed it. Now the whole step-related thing kind of threw me off a bit but I had to keep telling myself THEY ARE NOT RELATED!!! Would I read more yes. Being as this is from Carter's P.O.V. I want to read Brielle's version and see if maybe just maybe she can redeem herself from being the character I didn't like.

I'm sort of conflicted on this one. I enjoyed the premise and the dialogue and the police procedure stuff but there were plenty of typos and a jarring switch in POV between the "bad guy" and the two protagonists. I was pretty let down by the ending, too.

There were plenty of things that I liked but probably nearly as many things that I didn't like. And some of those things that I didn't like, I didn't like A LOT.

I guess if you've got a few hours to kill and you can overlook the typos and moving between 3rd person past tense to 1st person present tense as the perspective changes, you'll be ok.

I liked the plot and so wished it had been written better. Could have been very, very good instead of just mostly good.
