Let Me In
Let Me In - Luna David

What a awesomely developed group of characters that I cannot wait to get more of.  I adored the leads in this and while some of the "Daddy/boy" kink is really not for me, this was done in such a way that it made complete sense and exactly what these characters need and want in a relationship.

I especially appreciated how this story started with 2 POV's and then one of these POV's changed to a third character. So different and yet such a great introduction to the dynamic which is this relationship.

I also very much appreciated that the typical "drama" that tends to land at 80% didn't. I mean it is there but it happens much soon and it landed where it made sense in the development of this couple.  It was heartbreaking (Luna style...*coughs Saving Sebastian*) and yet having both POV's once again brings forth such reasoning to both sides that you can't help but understand and love both characters even more.

The storyline with Liam's mother was really the only part that didn't work for me and it felt like it took up way too much of the story.

But give me all these Daddies and their boys NOW.  Like NOW. I cannot wait to get the rest of this series.

Special Delivery (Special Delivery #1) by Heidi Cullinan 4 Star Review!
Special Delivery - Heidi Cullinan

When your deepest, darkest fantasy shows up, get on board.

Sam Keller knows he’ll never find the excitement he craves in Middleton, Iowa—not while he’s busting his ass in nursing school and paying rent by slaving away in a pharmacy stockroom. Then Sam meets Mitch Tedsoe, an independent, long-haul trucker who makes a delivery to a shop across the alley. Innocent flirting quickly leads to a fling, and when Mitch offers to take him on a road trip west, Sam jumps at the chance for adventure. Mitch is sexy, funny and friendly, but once they embark on their journey, something changes. One minute he’s the star of Sam’s every x-rated fantasy, the next he’s almost too much a perfect gentleman. And when they hit the Las Vegas city limit, Sam has a name to pin on Mitch’s malady: Randy.

For better or for worse, Sam grapples with the meaning of friendship, letting go, growing up—even the meaning of love—because no matter how far he travels, eventually all roads lead home.

Review

Through the powerful of Heidi Culliman's writing, I believe in these characters. I want Sam and Mitch to find their way into joy.

This is a compelling exploration understanding one's sexual desires. Sam aches to be more and to have what he wants and large life and Mitch hurts from not finding the right balance of kink and love and communication.

I love the sensuality between the heroes and the love. I adore Sam coming into his own and reaching for what he wants and Mitch making himself vulnerable and finding an abiding love.

The plot is very good and I love a road story. The secondary characters are less well drawn and complex but the core love story is so very good in this erotic romance

Silent Strength
Silent Strength: M/m Age Play Romance - Michael Innes

“You make me see everything differently…even myself…”

Holding him close, I smiled. “I just made you see the strength that was already there to begin with.”

He’d just needed someone to point it out. Someone to love him unconditionally and to show him that needs and emotions weren’t something that had to be hidden. No matter what the form or who you loved.

So this is a Daddy/little Age Play Kink.  Not something I had ever really heard about much less read.  This takes an open mind for sure but I am intrigued and will certainly continue with the series.

I do wish the story held a little more character and relationship development and depth.  I felt they moved really quickly and while the kink part develops nicely their couple development happens almost instantly.

New Release Review! Switch It Up (Noble House Kink #2) Sara Brookes
Switch It Up (Noble House Kink) - Sara Brookes

Welcome to Noble House, Where Your Passion is Our Pleasure, and Someone is Always Watching…

Hacker Madeline Zane gets off crossing lines. So when she discovers security flaws in the Noble House website, she thinks nothing of showing up at the door of the hybrid fetish club and demanding an audience with the owner. Especially after watching an intense online scene of the notorious Dom bringing a submissive to her knees.

Kochran Duke is weary of always being in control, but meeting Maddy rekindles his pleasure in what had become strictly business. And instead of making him jealous, seeing her submit to his old friend Ezra has him aching for something he didn’t even know he was searching for.

The kind of heartbreak Ezra’s lived through changes a man. Maddy makes him crave a life he thought he’d put behind him for good. Watching her with Kochran only fuels his desires, rousing the caged beast within.

Fortunately at Noble House, virtually any fantasy can become reality.

Switch It Up is an emotionally riveting tale full of explosive chemistry, super-hot sex scenes that hold readers hostage from beginning to end. The story puts a hold new light on the geeky sounding subject of technology as the author combines it with pleasure and kink so readers can’t help but become completely caught up in the unfolding events bring Madeline, Kochran and Ezra’s fantasies to vivid life.

The characters are strong, compelling and make it easy for reader to get to know them which in turn has readers empathizing with and falling for the characters as they work through their growing relationship that is full of emotional turmoil and sizzling passion. The sex scenes are full of red hot, steamy passages that burn up the pages as well as the virtual world which adds a whole new element and kink to the story and spices things up even more.

This is the first book that I have read in the Noble House Kink series and I found that the Sara Brookes did a great job of bringing the story and the characters to brilliant life which made it easy for me to become immersed in her sexy world that has its own unique elements that makes it different pleasure club stories that I have read. I will be reading that first book asap and waiting impatiently for the third.

The romance is missing from this erotic romance
Spanking the Boss (An Office Kink Novella Book 1) - Hunter Frost

Damn this one was a hard book to review.

The first 50% was basically erotica, and exceptionally well done, definitely 4, maybe even 5 stars. I felt their connection even though it was an almost instant romantic attraction.

Then the night ended and I expected some emotional scenes before a a final glorious resolution. Unfortunately this is where I was disappointed.

The first thing Charlie did was act like a douchebag, not once but twice in a couple of pages. Kiss and tell? So not cool. Then to compound that by revealing that what they did was in some way kinky (and I suspect he would have said more if she hadn't said she didn't want to know). Jesus, this was her boss too. Why would you put either person in that position?

And the confrontation and resolution when it came gave me nothing that I'd not had already in the book and provided a very lacklustre finale. I didn't feel the desperation (especially from Charlie) and there wasn't enough build up before the big reveal. Personally I'd have had Trent keep catching glances of people that look like Chaz (leaving the building, or having to deliver a file up to the penthouse suite, in a nearby coffee shop) but after going up to the first few and them not being Charlie he stops chasing them even though they are Charlie. Something to build up the tension there.

And the forgiveness was too quick. And I didn't like how they resolved things, I didn't need more sexy times. I needed feelings, and I felt I'd been short changed.
