This is book #5, in the Anchor Point series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader enjoyment and understanding of the series, I recommend reading in the order intended.
Dalton & Chris have been best friends for some time. Enjoying the same things, working the same job, even at the same location, makes it easy for their friendship to grow. When tragedy strikes and makes them realize their feelings - can they make the most of it?
Chris is not sure how to react when he almost loses Dalton. He has become more than a friend now. In order to go forward someone would have to transfer out, they would both have to get promoted, etc.
This story was a sweet surprise. I enjoyed learning more about their jobs. I also loved the characters loyalty to both the jobs, and to each other. I found myself not wanting to put this book down, like many in this great series. I give this story a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Dallas Fire And Rescue: Anchor Point by Rachel Rivers is an awesome read. Ms Rivers has delivered a well-written, suspenseful book. This is a fairly quick read, a great choice for those with limited time for reading. Weston and Julia's story is loaded with fantastic, lovable characters. Julia is a totally kickass heroine. There is plenty of action, drama, bits of humor and spice to keep readers glued to their kindles. I loved reading Anchor Point and look forward to my next book by Rachel Rivers. Anchor Point is part of the Dallas Fire and Rescue Kindle World, but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
This is book #3 in the Anchor Point series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader enjoyment and understanding of the series, I recommend reading in order.
Anthony does not want to be here. He promised his sister, and here he is. On a break from the family drama, he meets Noah. Very hot and very quickly they click.
Noah is more than happy to go home with a hot and willing guy. How would he know this guy would change the direction of his future? As long as they meet in the middle, the future looks bright.
This book was hot and intense right from the start. I found the characters endearing, and I rooted for them right away. Such a sexy series. I give this story a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
