Hello.
I hope everyone had a great April and is having a nice spring. And if you celebrate it a nice Easter.
I really enjoyed April the first few nice days to be outside and everything coming back to life is always so great.
Reading wise was also a good month, I had some great ARCs and other some great books. May will also start out great as I'm eagerly waiting for my copy of A Court of Wings and Ruin to be here on release day. After that I have some ARCs I need to either finish or start. I'm hoping to be done with all my ARC by June,so I can take a break and read some of my personal TBR.
Here are some books releasing in May, well according to Goodreads.
May 2nd, A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas, Cold Reign by Faith Hunter. Confessions of a Former Puck Bunny by Cindi Madsen on May 8th.
Sons of Ares by Pierce Brown on May 10th. May 16th The Crown's Fate by Evelyn Skye. May 23th will be Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare.
May 30th releases are White Hot by Ilona Andrews, Gwendy's Button Box by Stephen King and When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon.
I'm also starting Feature Friday on May 7th .
Each Friday we will be highlighting one author and their book. We will have interviews, excerpts, author guest posts and other fun things to come.
It is very similar to the blog tours except it will be exclusively post here on SnoopyDoo’s.
I thought it might be a fun way to maybe get to know some more new authors and books.
For now I will have it going on for May and June but I might keep it up if the interest is there for both reader and authors.

Belle by Anonymous Girls
Dear Reader,
Isabelle “Belle” March is a nobody. A nothing. A Peasant. No one even knew who she was until one of the Royals, Adam “Beast” Castle, decided she was hot enough to ignore the hierarchy at our school—a hierarchy I myself set in place. I run this school, and the Upper East Side, too. Here at H.E.A., we stick to a strict social status, something most of Manhattan does, too. So when Beast starts dating Belle? All hell breaks loose.
Royals shouldn’t date Peasants, and you’re about to see why.
Oh, and please don’t buy this thinking you know how this story is going to end. You know nothing. Nobody here at H.E.A. plays by the rules, or follows the books. The only one who knows anything around here is me…
And I’m not telling anyone a thing.
XOXO,
Elsa

Lost Rider by
In Lost Rider, the first Western romance in New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author Harper Sloan’s Coming Home series, an injured rodeo star encounters an old flame but will she be just what he needs to get back in the saddle?
Maverick Austin Davis is forced to return home after a ten-year career as a rodeo star. After one too many head injuries, he’s off the circuit and in the horse farming business, something he’s never taken much of a shine to, but now that it’s his late father’s legacy, familial duty calls. How will Maverick find his way after the only dream he ever had for himself is over?
Enter Leighton Elizabeth James, an ugly duckling turned beauty from Maverick’s childhood—his younger sister’s best friend, to be exact, and someone whose heart he stomped all over when she confessed her crush to him ten years back. Now Leighton is back in Maverick’s life, no longer the insecure, love-stricken teen—and Maverick can’t help but take notice. Sparks fly between them, but will Leighton be able to open her heart to the one man who broke it all those years ago?
Written in the vein of Diana Palmer and Lindsay McKenna, this Texas-set series is filled with sizzle, heart, and plenty of cowboys!

Grayson by F.G. Adams
Growing up in the small coastal town of Florida, Grayson Blackwood has defied the odds stacked against him. Appearances on the outside can be very deceiving. Coming from a wealthy family with an abusive father that won’t ever change, he’s determined to be a better man. Grayson is fighting for his family, his country, and the only woman he’s ever loved.
Ella Anderson has lived a hard life, growing up with a sick mom and a less than upstanding father. From hand-me-downs to food stamps, life was never easy for her family. But the one thing she could always count on was her family’s love, and for Ella, that was the most precious commodity.
When Ella moves to Lakeview, she meets Grayson in high school. The attraction is immediate for both. Dubbed as ‘just friends’, Grayson and Ella forge an undeniable friendship that leads to a powerful promise.
After high school, Ella and Grayson fall out of touch. A one-in-a-million chance meeting halfway around the globe brings the couple back together in a lifeless desert land, a combat zone where death is always present.
Alpha in his own right, Captain Blackwood leads his special ops team into a war-torn country, determined to take down a terrorist, while Ella struggles with the realization that Grayson has found her again.
Will their love survive time and their harsh separation from long ago? Can Grayson show Ella that they were made for each other?
Bluebirds mate for life. And Grayson’s Bluebird is coming home.
Author’s Note: This is a full-length standalone novel with a happily ever after ending and no cliffhanger. Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

Mask of Shadows by Linsey Miller
Perfect for fantasy fans of Sarah J. Maas and Leigh Bardugo, the first book in this new duology features a compelling gender fluid main character, impressive worldbuilding, and fast-paced action.
Sallot Leon is a thief, and a good one at that. But gender fluid Sal wants nothing more than to escape the drudgery of life as a highway robber and get closer to the upper-class―and the nobles who destroyed their home.
When Sal steals a flyer for an audition to become a member of The Left Hand―the Queen’s personal assassins, named after the rings she wears―Sal jumps at the chance to infiltrate the court and get revenge.
But the audition is a fight to the death filled with clever circus acrobats, lethal apothecaries, and vicious ex-soldiers. A childhood as a common criminal hardly prepared Sal for the trials. And as Sal succeeds in the competition, and wins the heart of Elise, an intriguing scribe at court, they start to dream of a new life and a different future, but one that Sal can have only if they survive.
