Clifford Makes a Friend (Hello Reader, Level 1) - Norman Bridwell
For more reviews, check out my blog: Craft-Cycle

This is a Level 1 reader. It is very simple and repetitive, good for kids learning to read. There are tons of sight words and easy words to sound out.

But there isn't really any story. There are good examples of action labels (see, run, jump), but no real plot.

I was more confused with the lack of detail. Who is the boy? Where is Emily Elizabeth?

Simple first reader, but just okay.

My Friend is Sad - Mo Willems

Adorable story of friendship. This is classic Gerald and Piggie. So cute.

Very entertaining illustrations and dialogue. These are great books to read aloud or take turns reading with children.

A wonderful read. Highly recommend to fans of the Elephant & Piggie series.

Daddy's Little Angel (A Best Friend's Brother Secret Romance)
Daddy's Little Angel (A Best Friend's Br... Daddy's Little Angel (A Best Friend's Brother Secret Romance) - Mia Clark Clark goes for the taboo. The sex appeal is beyond hot, but borders on disturbing. Fiona and Gray dare to find happiness in a situation that is strange at best.

Liam Walsh is just a roommate.

Maybe if Charlie St. James repeats it enough, she’ll stop lusting after him. Not that it matters how she feels anyway, because Liam will always see her as one of the boys. Hell, he’s the one who gave her the nickname Charlie as a joke. Well, the joke’s on her. Now that she is confined to less than 1,000 square feet with him, she can’t stop thinking about how it would feel to get just a little bit closer.

Charlie St. James is off limits.

She’s been Liam Walsh’s best friend since grade school. He thought it wouldn’t be a big deal to let her crash with him when she needed a place to stay, but he was dead wrong. Knowing only a thin wall separates them when they sleep, that she’s naked in the shower while he lays in bed fantasizing about her, is unbearable. When their cozy two bedroom goes from friend zone to war zone, they’ll either burn up the sheets or go down in flames.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Liam and Charlie have been best friends for a long time. Now, he is feeling more for her than friendship. Is it smart to act on those feelings? He must decide before it is too late if he can be the man she needs.

Charlotte AKA "Charlie" has just realized she wants more from her best friend, Liam. All of a sudden the way she feels about him is just not enough. Every time she is in the same room it seems there are so many sparks flying, she is afraid she will combust.

This is such a sweet and yet very sexy story. I was engrossed in it pretty quick. Besides being my favorite trope, the characters are smart, sexy, and have great banter. They get right to the heart of things. I loved the pace and the fact it starts out this new series just right!
