Crazy for the Competition (Hope Springs #2) by Cindi Madsen
Crazy for the Competition - Cindi Madsen

syns

The road to trouble is paved with sweet temptation… Always the rebel in her ultra-conservative family, Quinn Sakata dreams of quitting her dad's real-estate business and restoring the old Mountain Ridge Bed and Breakfast in her hometown of Hope Springs. Except that Quinn's not the only person bidding on it. Worse still, her competitor is her high school crush, Heath Brantley, who is all kinds of ripped, tattooed hotness... So much for her "nice, conservative boys" rule. Heath has his own reasons for bidding on Mountain Ridge, and he won't give in without a fight - even to the red-lipped hottie with a sailor's mouth. But when their rivalry shifts into an unexpected zing of chemistry, Heath realizes he's in deep trouble. Because it's inevitable that emotions will get involved, and he needs to keep his eyes on the prize before they both get hurt.

This is the second book in the Hope Springs series by Cindi Madsen. I really enjoyed the first book that followed Sadie and Royce, plus I really love most books by Cindi Madsen that I have read so far and it was a no brainer for me to read this book. This book like most of her books, was sweet, funny and romantic. Both Quinn and Heath have more going on than they are willing to share to each other. They are come from different backgrounds but yet had the same struggle with family in a way. Both need to win the bid on the Mountain Ridge Inn for their own reason but, it is still a route to escape their own family dramas. While they both need and want the Inn they still work together and not against each other. Of course they fall for each other but both think it cannot work out for them and one of them will get hurt. I enjoyed their story a lot, their struggle but also their success. Loved both Heath and Quinn, they are very likeable and Quinn was really funny and I loved how she learned to stand up for herself at the end. While predicable it was a great fun read, with humor, romance with some twists on the road to their HEA of course. Overall, this was another great book from Cindy, I can’t wait to see who will be next in the Hope Springs, and I really hope it will be Heath’s brother Cam. We shall see … I rate it at 4★

Crazy for the Competition
Crazy for the Competition - Cindi Madsen I loved this funny and cute story. Two opposite people who are unable to fight their attraction. They both want same property and are competing with each other. Still they decided to be friends. Although friends is not what they want to be. quinn can't help but fall for this ultimate bad boy. He is not like the others, he is funny and gets her like no one else ever has. Heath is now a reformed man. He wants to prove to everyone that he can be trusted and others matter to him. When he first meets Quinn he thinks she is a snob but after getting to know her he realizes that she is one of a kind, a person he can easily fall in love with.
This is an amazing read. With steady pace, well-developed characters and great story line, this book is a best summer read.

Crazy for the Competition
Crazy for the Competition - Cindi Madsen A lovely book about doing over your life and making a fresh start. Quinn feels stifled from conforming to her traditional parents ideas of the proper daughter. Being unable to be herself, dating people that her parents approve of but who in the long run would not respect her boundaries. Her ticket to freedom is Mountain Ridge, a place she hopes to win a bid on with the dreams of turning it into an elegant B & B.

Heath is the perfect bad boy; motorcycle rider, band member with a scruffy beard, tats and jewelry to boot. He has returned to Hope Springs with a dream of his own. Turn Mountain Ridge into a Hunting Lodge so that he and his brother can have something of their own to build. When the town committee is unable to decide who to grant the bid to, their solution is to put the two of them together on a project for an upcoming festival and see where the chips fall.

Though they are both from different worlds, they unexpectedly find common ground and a magnetic attraction to each other, which eventually makes them realize that building a place of their own means nothing if there is nobody special to share it with

Crazy for the Competition
Crazy for the Competition - Cindi Madsen Quinn was a unique character. A tiny clean cut package with a bawdy mouth. She is torn between making her family happy or following her dream. What stands in her way? A former crush and letting her parents down. Crazy for the Competition is a story about learning how to be true to who you are. Enjoyable read. I received an ARC of this book for an honest review.
