New Release Review! Curse of the Dragon (Immortally Cursed #2) S.A. Bayne!

TGIF, Readers! Today I am going to visit a Dragon named Theresa who has been cursed so she makes a deal with Satan! Enjoy and don't forget to add Curse of the Dragon by S.A. Bayne to your shelves!

Can a sassy, fiery dragon and a smokin'-hot dragon slayer have a happily ever after?

Theresa Nichols is so over being stuck in dragon form. Two centuries of being trapped indoors because society can't handle a dragon is two centuries too many…especially when it means she's about to miss out on her one chance for love.

Desperation sends Theresa to make a deal with her reluctant bestie's boss, who happens to be the leader of hell. Totally worth risking your eternal soul to get your life back, right?

Except once Theresa goes human, everything falls apart. The dangerous badboy she's kinda falling for turns out to be an ex-dragon slayer, her ex-lover from a couple centuries ago is stalking her, and there's a team of active dragon slayers hunting her down.

When private detective and reformed dragon slayer Zeke Siccardi realizes that he's inadvertently set two sets of assassins on Theresa's tail, he's determined to make it right, no matter how badly she wants him out of her life.

There's no chance for a dragon and a dragon slayer to make a relationship work, right? But when the stakes involve murder, eternal love, and the safety of the Goblet of Eternal Youth, not to mention the fate of dragons everywhere, Theresa and Zeke can't afford not to team up. But will their deadly attraction destroy them before they can save Theresa's life and Zeke's soul? It might…but it's so hot between them that it might almost be worth it.

She’s spent the last two centuries trapped indoors and Theresa Nichols is so over being stuck in dragon form, especially since she’s about to miss out on her one chance for love. So makes she a deal with Satan and she’s finally human, only everything starts to fall apart…the man she’s falling for is an ex-dragon slayer, her ex-lover from a couple centuries ago is stalking her and there’s a team of active dragon slayers hunting her down. Not only is there no chance for a dragon and a dragon slayer to make a relationship work but there’s no way she can protect the Goblet of Eternal Youth.

The second book in the ‘Immortally Cursed’ series is as bright, funny and vividly passionate as the first but it also puts new meaning to the song “Crazy Thing Called Love!” It’s crazy, its zany, its super feisty and so energetic that keeps readers holding on the edge of their seat from beginning to end. The chemistry between Theresa and Zeke is electrical which keeps the pages singing with sparks and passion but this relationship is hits the rocks from the very first ‘in the flesh’ meeting and only gets more feisty and explosive from there.

The plot is fast paced and full of non-stop action, excitement and laughs that keeps readers in stitches even while they bite their nails in suspense of just what will happen next. A whole host of wonderfully different, uniquely charming characters ensures that the readers can really get involved in the story and with stunning twists, fun and quirky elements, vivid imagery, this story is a diabolical delight.

S.A. Bayne is a freaking gift to the universe, at least according to her dogs, and everyone knows dogs are world-class judges of people. She was taught to play by the rules, but after suffering numerous apoplectic breakdowns, she realized that she had to ditch the rules, figure out her own way to live, and then turn that into high-octane, irreverent, unpredictable-as-hell, supernatural fiction that will make your day so much better just by reading it. She also is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of paranormal, contemporary, and cowboy romance, writing under the name Stephanie Rowe.

Dragonslayers: From Beowulf to Saint George (Myths and Legends)
Dragonslayers: From Beowulf to St. George - Joseph McCullough Dragonslayers is part of the Myths and Legends series. The book is beautifully illustrated and a pleasure to look at. It covers all the different dragonslayers from early history onwards with chapters focusing on ancient dragonslayers, Norse dragonslayers, Holy dragonslayers, Medieval dragonslayers, and dragonslayers from around the world.I loved looking at this book. The pictures were fascinating and I was amazed at all the different dragonslayer stories from around the world. The book would appeal to readers from middle school and up. If you are interested in learning more about dragons and those who battled them, this book is a good resource.Thank you to Random House Books for a review copy of this book.

Project: Dragonslayers - K. Rowe Project: Dragonslayers - K. Rowe I opted to read this book after seeing a post the author made. The premise sounded incredibly interesting. I'm pleased to say that it lived up to my expectations. That's not to say that it's perfect, because it isn't. There were times that I felt things were over done, or the author was trying too hard, other times it felt as though the author wasn't trying hard enough. There were a couple places where I felt as though the author was 'absent.' That being said, the book's length more than made up for the lapses. The great vastly outweighed the mediocre. I spent a very pleasant afternoon reading this book, and would not be averse to reading other works by the author. The romance was good, and not too graphic at all, there was good action, and the storyline was good. I truly enjoyed this book and would encourage others to check it out. Also, the arsenal index in the back was a fantastic personal touch!!
