Review! Nixed (White-Raven Pack Chronicles #1) Lori King!
Nixed - Lori King

Annabelle Raven has grown up with Nix Whiteoak as her family’s deadly enemy, while he has spent years defending his family from her pack’s killer forces. Both sides have lost in this feud as they find themselves dying off with only a legend to guide them. They’d both do anything to protect and care for their families, even if that means marrying the enemy.

Face to face with destiny the two find themselves caught in a whirlwind of lust and raw emotions. Is it possible that fate has played the dirtiest trick of all on them both? Could they really be fated mates?

They are enemies, but when they come face to face with destiny, Annabelle Raven and Nix Whiteoak find themselves caught in a whirlwind of lust and raw emotions.

This short story has strong, compelling characters, sizzling chemistry and heated passions that burn the pages and singes readers with the intensity of the passion and emotions that flow through this fast paced romance. Readers can’t help but become enamored with the couple and become caught up in the conflict, so I for one, can’t wait to find out what happens next in the White-Raven Pack Chronicles.

Best-selling author, Lori King, is also a full-time wife and mother of three boys. Although she rarely has time to just enjoy feminine pursuits; at heart she is a hopeless romantic. She spends her days dreaming up Alpha men, and her nights telling their stories. An admitted TV and book junkie, she can be found relaxing with a steamy story, or binging in an entire season of some show online. She gives her parents all the credit for her unique sense of humor and acceptance of all forms of love. There are no two loves alike, but you can love more than one with your whole heart.

With the motto: Live, Laugh, and Love like today is your only chance, she will continue to write as long as you continue to read. Thank you for taking the time to indulge in a good Happily Ever After with her.

Hunger Games fans should check this one out!
Extinction Of All Children - L. J. Epps

Extinction Of All Children by L.J. Epps is a dystopian, young adult novel set in a place called Craigluy in the year 2080. The reader follows the journey of Emma Whisperer, an 18 year old who was the last child to be born in her territory. Yes babies were still born after Emma, however they are taken away from their parents. As a reader, we want to find out what happens to these children.

I liked that there was always something happening in this novel; I never got bored. Certain parts of this book are pretty grim to read but that's what makes it so interesting "I could have you all sterilised - but that would take away my fun in watching you suffer."

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book because the underlying idea of the novel really interested me - the extinction of children. When I got to the ending I didn't realise that there was going to be a second book so initially I was super disappointed because there is a lot that is left uncovered so thank goodness there will be a second one that continues the adventure - I can't wait to read it!

I'd definitely recommend this book to fans of dystopian novels and anyone looking for a fairly quick read.

I received Extinction Of All Children via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
