Logan Hart, is the brother of Jessica Hart, that we met in The Heat of the Moment by Katie Rose. Logan has been in Europe playing soccer and is finally back in the U.S. now playing for the New Jersey Hurricanes. Logan is tall, sexy and ripped with bulging muscles. Throw in crystal blue eyes and a perfect smile and he has lady killer written all over him. Enjoying his single life, the last thing Logan expected was to have a baby girl, Cinnamon, dumped on him by a one-night stand named Desiree. Desiree explains that she can't handle her and that it is his turn and turns and walks out.
OMG...I loved that scene! Just what is a single jock to do with a 3 month old baby? First Logan calls his sister, Jessica. She comes over and helps him with a few basics but then gives him the number of a nanny agency. Calling the agency, Logan finds out that they can send Isabella Bennett to help and he feels a little relief. Isabella's not too happy having to deal with another spoiled athlete but she takes the job anyways.
Wished I had an Isabella as a nanny! She was wonderful! To Logan she was a lifesaver. It didn't hurt that she was really beautiful too! Knowing that Bella is the nanny, Logan knows he should keep his hands off, but is having a really hard time with that! It doesn't help that Bella is drawn to Logan too! The scenes in the beginning when they were trying to get things settled was great. Such emotions and chemistry just waiting to explode.
I just loved the way Logan's mom was! That was such a fun part to the story line!
When things have finally heated up, Bella starts to feel guilty because of something from her past. She knows she needs to tell Logan but just can't. Logan is trying to find Desiree because she has just disappeared. As each day passes, Logan is starting to have real feelings for Cinnamon and Bella. Just when it looks like things are going to end up happy for everyone....BOOM! It all blows up. This was sure an emotional part of the story! My heart ached for everyone. The way everything finally came back together was great, even though it was a tough road to get there.
Overall, this was a great read with wonderful characters and I would highly recommend it!
