One Real Regret by Janet Nissenson

Title: The One Real Regret (Batchelor #3)
Author: Janet Nissenson
Genre:Contemporary Romance
Release Date: June 11, 2019

Max Wainwright’s life has been filled with difficult choices, dating back to his rough upbringing in England, a life he left long ago. But as tough as some of those choices have been, he has never regretted making a single one of them – with the exception of the one he made several years ago during a business trip to Seattle. Walking away from the only woman he’s ever really cared about continues to be the biggest regret of his life – the only regret.
Jill Parrish was young, naïve, and impressionable when she first met and fell head over heels in love with the handsome, enigmatic Max Wainwright. She innocently believed their passionate affair would last forever, and that she had met the love of her life. But when he left her without a backwards glance, her heart and spirit were irrevocably broken, and she feared she would never be whole again.
When Max and Jill meet again by chance, she’s finally managed to move on, and is even contemplating an engagement to another man. Will Max find a way to overcome his deep-seated emotional issues and finally claim the only woman he’s ever loved? Or will he risk losing Jill forever, and regretting it for the rest of his life?

My Review
5 Stars
One Real Regret by Janet Nissenson is book Three in the Bachelor Series. This is the story of Jill Parrish and Max Wainwright. I have loved the previous books, but feel if you wish to do so you could make this a standalone book.
Max and Jill meet a few years ago when he is a consultant for the company that Jill works for. Both are attracted to the other and go into an agreement to be together during the time that he is work with the company. Jill is young, innocent at the time growing her wings of adulthood and the broken chains of a very conservative grandmother who has pasted. Max is running from his past on his way to making his own way in the world never feeling like he deserves much happiness. But when his business is complete he leaves Jill which he later always seems to regret. Jill thought that Max was the one for her but he left her and didn't look back. Now some years later she is a successful business women who ends up meeting Max again when he once again is helping the company she is working for. Is this their second chance at Love?
Loved this series, this author and their story.

RELEASE BLITZ ★ The Player Gets Coached

Title: The Player Gets Coached
(Bachelor, #2)
Author: Janet Nissenson
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: October 16, 2018
Cover Designer: Najla Qamber
Designs Hosted by: Buoni Amici Press, LLC.

The Manwhore Versus The Maneater

Finn McManus thrives on his reputation as a player’s player – a term that has nothing to do with his years as a professional athlete. A notorious flirt and ladies man, the handsome, charming retired football player rarely dates a woman more than a few times, and shies away from relationships like they were a contagious disease. And despite his parents’ decades long, blissfully happy marriage, Finn just can’t see himself ever being in the same situation.

Delilah Ferris has acquired her own reputation over the years as something of a maneater. She makes no bones about the fact that she expects to call the shots in the relationship, and that she’ll never be any man’s fool. And when she meets her new neighbor Finn for the first time, she automatically puts him in the same category as her handsome, playboy father – the same father who not only broke her heart too many times to count but broke their family as well. Delilah has always vowed to steer clear of heartbreakers like Finn McManus, unwilling to ever fall victim to his charms.

But when the gorgeous, tempting Delilah quickly becomes the only woman Finn has eyes for, he pulls out all the stops to convince her to go out with him. And if Delilah weakens her resolve and agrees, will she regret her decision sooner than later? Or will the coach finally manage to whip this player into shape?

The Player Gets Coached (Bachelor #2)The Player Gets Coached by Janet Nissenson
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This is book #2 in the Bachelor series. This can be read as a standalone novel. For reader understanding and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this series in order.

Finn is disturbed that he is the only one who has not traditionally grown up. He finds a woman he is interested in, and she is a maneater of the skilled kind. How does he show her he can be her match?

Delilah is not impressed by first sighting of Finn. She is not wanting to date a manwhore who can never make up his mind what he wants in a woman. They clash and it is like the player must learn to be played.

This story was pretty slow. The beginning has a lot of back story and the characters are rich and colorful. I enjoyed the banter and the high heat factor. Was a great addition to the series, and a good read.

The Player Gets Coached by Janet Nissenson is book Two in the Bachelor series.  This is the story of
Delilah Ferris and Finn McManus.  I have read the previous book (and Loved it!) but feel you can make this a standalone book if you wish to do so.
Delilah sets the rules and is in control of relationships...when she has the time.  Delilah does work to stay clear of men who where like her father. Delilah does find her neighbor Finn in that category.   Delilah is working to bring her clothing line forward which is taking up all her focus and time. But she is finding Finn is hard to stay clear off.
Finn is a man-whore who has no plans on changing that...and the women know it.  Being a former NFL player set him up on that coarse despite his parents great marriage.  But now he is finding his hard to resist neighbor, Delilah might be changing his mind.
Their story was a page turner for me...I absolutely loved it.  Can't wait to read more in this series and by Ms. Nissenson
