This engaging suspense has the sweetest couple that makes readers smile and sigh in delight. The characters are strong and easily draw readers into their story and their chemistry is awesome which makes readers believe that anything is possible when comes to falling in love. Sarah and Cole are made for each other and while the relationship has all the emotional angst once would expect from the situation, the romance is sweet and one readers can really enjoy. 

The plot is steady paced and the suspense builds throughout, keeping readers glued to the pages. Some unexpected and surprising twists keeps readers on their toes as the story unfolds and readers begin to wonder just what this bad guy has in mind. The conclusion of this story is a bit unbelievable in how sweet the heroine is but it also speaks of her humanity and readers have no problem fitting it with her characters which makes it quite fitting for this thrilling romance.

The fourth book in the Mercury Pack series is a thrilling read that draws readers in and refuses to let go. Madisyn and Bracken are strong, bold characters that really stand out and grab attention and the chemistry that burns between is electrical. The relationship between is rocky from start to finish and quite entertaining as they struggle through it. Readers can’t help but get caught up in all the upheaval that occurs emotionally between Madisyn and Bracken as readers can easily understand their motivations which it makes it difficult to open their hearts. The couple exchange some witty dialogue, some feisty debates, some sweet heart moments and lots of sizzling attraction and red hot passion during their journey to reach their happily ever after.

But the tangled emotions of this relationship is not the only thing that makes it interesting, threats from their past add thrilling danger, intriguing suspense and adrenaline pumping excitement. The plot is fast paced and flows smoothly which along with the author’s ability to bring stories to vivid life, makes it easy for readers to become so caught up in the story that they lose track of time. The character interactions of this series and The Phoenix Pack series are one of family, loyalty, understanding and the struggle to survive and fit in which makes it easy for readers to connect with the them and also invites readers into their lives, so readers really can’t get enough of this fascinating world.

The Mercury Pack is interconnected to The Phoenix Pack and the events in both take place at the same time. The interactions between the two packs are interconnected but not so much that you can’t enjoy reading the series separately and further more each book can be read as standalones. But reading both series gives readers full understanding of the two packs and complete and satisfactory enjoyment of all the events that take place and affect each.

Chloe is a bit of a contradiction as she is strong and feisty but yet at the same vulnerable and skittish due to her situation and Ronan is a sweet, strong, protective and sexy male that readers easily fall for. The author does a great job of portraying the character and their personalities that readers really feel as if they know these characters. The chemistry between Chloe and Ronan sizzles from every page while the romance is sweet and full of passion and emotional angst.

The story takes place at a fast pace and just keeps the suspense and thrills building throughout as Roman and the Mountain Mercenaries try to uncover just what Chloe’s brother is up to while keeping her safe. Unexpected twists keeps the characters and the readers on their toes and the mercenaries pull everyone deeper into their fascinating and dangerous world that keeps readers intrigued and wanting more. The author vivid portrayal of this world ensures that readers easily get caught up in all the characters and the dangers they face and really who can resist guys who bad for all the right reasons.
