1786: Regency London.

Everyone is hiding something.

But someone is hiding everything.

Lizzy Ward never meant to end up working the streets of Piccadilly. So when a mysterious noble pursues her, it seems her luck is changing. But though Lord Hays offers to grow Lizzy's fortunes, his price is unexpected. She must masquerade in the sumptuous gowns and social mask of a true lady.

With the stakes so high, love is out of the question. But as Lizzy navigates the fashion and faux-pas of the London elite, she finds her tough facade failing her. Lord Hayes wants to show her that nobility is more than skin deep. . . and as the connection between them grows, it's no longer certain who's wearing the mask. As the street-girl and the lord collide. Regency London is poised for scandal . . .

The Snow Globe
The Snow Globe - Sheila Roberts

Kiley Gray discovers a snow globe with a fantastic backstory in an antique shop.  The snow globe has passed for generation to generation always fallen in the hands of a person that needs a Christmas miracle. Will this snow globe fulfill Kiley’s deepest desires and also help her friends who are also in need of a Christmas miracle.

I haven’t had the best track record when it comes to romance novels these last couple of months. So I was a bit weary when it was time to read this book. Boy was I taken by surprise! This book was sweet and cozy and had a wonderful Christmas feeling all over it. Sure it was romance in it, but it was much more than that. It was about family, happiness and miracles. And the romantic part of it…it was perfectly ok. Not a single graphic sex scene. I’m happy!

The best part of the book was that it wasn’t just a girl that needs to find a guy, sure Kiley wanted to find someone to love, but her friends didn’t need a man to love, Suzanne was married with a child and was about to lose her family because she was blind to anything else than making money and Allison grieved her grandmother who died the year before.

4 Christmas stars to this little book!

Thank you Piatkus for providing me with a free copy for an honest review!
