One of the funniest romances I have read in a while. Leah owns a bakery and is overweight. Her mother is always telling her what to do to lose the weight. She meets Sam in a bar and he is a jerk to her but when he goes to apologize to her he is enlisted to help her get the wedding cake to her ex-boyfriend's wedding where he proclaims them engaged. Now they have to look for a way out of the engagement because Leah's mother was there during the proclamation. I loved Leah and Sam. If only they could have read each other's thoughts instead of thinking they knew what the other was thinking it would have spared them both so much heartache. We also would have lost a lot of the humor. Leah's family is a hoot! I especially enjoyed Sam's jerking her brother's chain. This was just a fun read. I hope the others that follow will be as much fun. |
