I am in my happy place. Dani, the woman has gone through some massive trials and made some huge transitions. In the beginning it was confusing, to see a young girl suffer so and be seen as more in the future. I admit I did not like young Dani, she was a thorn to me in the story. Oh there was some serious backlash towards Ms. Moning, speculations based on her age, before the tale was finished being told. If only they'd waited they would have seen this beautiful, wonderfully magical woman finally grab ahold of her red threads and become what she was ment to be. The truth of why this obsession was there made me jump and scream "YEH!" I'm not going to spoil it for anyone, you don't need to know more.
Another great book from Ms. Moning. She continues to be one of my top 5 authors, one I re-read from often. I can not wait for her next work.. Bravo Ms. Moning, you rock !

I went into this book totally blind. It had been on my kindle for years, unread. I went overboard with downloading freebies for a while. Don't judge. I've been randomly picking a book by tittle alone and reading them most have been meh reads, this one wasn't.
What an amazing time travel, mystery, suspense, love story. This book took me, shook me, and kept me up all night. I was always in the edge of my seat, nibbling on my cuticles, heart thumping, breath rapid, the answer was there just another page, stage. Who was the real villain ? What changes had she caused to the future ? Can they find a way to be together ? The best part is it's not all HEA there are some tissue box moments.. No worries, the end is so good. I never saw it coming. I love this author's writing, she paced everything just right for this reader. There was just enough, of everything to entrance me in her world. Will read this author again asap.
One slightly negative point had me going ??? She wasn't a major character I just don't like undone dangling bits. Where is the mother, and what was her story ? I feel like that chapter was dropped. There was a lot of story about her leaving but never an answer. Did I miss something ?

Thank the gods I lived through this. Beaten bruised, bloodied, and heartbroken, but I lived. Styxx, man I just keep shaking my head at his 11,000 years + of extreme torture. It didn't rip and gut me like Acheron's book did but it hurt. Acheron's book took me out of this series for two years. Recovery time for this one, a couple days. What ? am I just so jaded now I can take it easier ? Isn't that a dark thought. I think Ms. Kenyon did everything imaginable she could think up to hurt and humiliate him. Oh dang it lasted, and lasted and lasted and then it came back and slapped him upside his heart again ! It was too much for this reader, I was so grateful, relieved and exhausted when it ended. "Thank the gods it ended" Styxx finally got a life worth living, forgiveness was fast and to me unbelievable. I would have never forgiven 11 minutes of what he lived through and he did it fro 11,000+.
I am amazed at the details and massive amounts information juggled and placed just so, and it all worked. This author is truly amazing and cruel to her characters. : ) I'm on to the next one in line.
