If you scroll over the little books, you can see the title. Well, the title is there. It's pretty small, too.
I'd love it if shelved books could be taggable - maybe visible as you mouse over the cover? It would be very handy to have a clickable keyword to sort to various sub-categories in addition to shelves.

Love the platform and atmosphere here at BookLikes - Thanks :]

Yes, I agree.

It's beginning to sound like teething ... :)
When creating a Photo post, the option to link the photo to something (like the original source) would be great.
Let's try tags... ;)

+1 :)
A search feature for group topics. I have no idea how to search to see if I already suggested to add "reviews" to blog display options that currently let you choose to display posts or drafts and to add "non-review posts" to dashboard display options that currently show all posts and only reviews.
I REALLY REALLY just want an app that will allow me to do everything that I could on the web. Like the Goodreads app. I want a fully functioning app. I want to add books, update my reading status (page numbers, etc.) mark when I've finished a book, and type a review if I want to.

Thanks.

I'm a little confused about how editions are separated. I like to be able to go to a book and see a compilation of reviews about it either after or before I read it. It looks like they are separated by edition on here? Is it possible, for example, for one reviewer to write a review of a hardcover edition, and then two years later, write a review of the paperback, and have both reviews show up on the same book page?

I agree with this! I'd like to be able to go to a page on "Hamlet, by William Shakespeare" and see all reviews/posts about it, instead of reviews being fragmented to Penguin, Signet, Dover Thrift, Arden, RSC, Oxford, etc etc etc editions. Basically, a page for each book (possibly with options for filtering by edition, or sub-pages for each edition, if editions are important?) rather than books being separated into various editions, some of which may not be very different at all (or just hardcover/paperback/Kindle versions of the exact same text).

They're working on consolidated book pages, but this is a feature that's more complicated to implement than others, because BookLikes is directly sourcing its book data through different booksellers (Amazon, Barnes & Noble etc.), so creating consolidated pages not only involves tweaking the site architecture but (very likely) also negotiating with the various book sellers for them to agree that their data are used on the consolidated pages -- and associated search options, etc. -- in the way that BookLikes is planning. But Dawid and his team have metioned repeatedly that this is in the works, it's just a matter of time to get it implemented.

That said, once we have consolidated book pages, I very much hope we'll get consolidated author pages as well (with all the books written by a given author and a bit of an author bio at the very least) ...
May I request being able to search our own bookshelves using ISBN? I just tried it and it shows 'no results' which led me to adding the same book twice.

Thanks!

We're supposed to already be able to search by ISBN (our own bookshelves included), so maybe cross-post this to "bug reports"?
Maybe this has been mentioned - I looked quickly but didn't see it. I would love the ability to have an email notification each time a new topic/thread gets started in the groups I belong to. Something that could be turned on and off, of course. Sometimes I'm not able to take the time to sit down and go through my groups and I hate missing out on conversations I find interesting. :)
