Book Review For: SWEPT INTO LOVE by Melissa Foster
Swept into Love (Love in Bloom: The Ryders): Gage Ryder - Melissa Foster

'SWEPT INTO LOVE' by Melissa Foster is Book Five in "The Ryders" Series . This is the story of Sally and Gage. I have not yet read the other books in this series so for me this was a standalone book.
Sally lost her husband some years ago leaving her with a Son to raise. Within a few months after his death she meets Gage along with being her friend is her coworker. Gage has even helped her son Rusty when he needs a father figure / friend.
Now Rusty is 20 years old and Sally is more on her own than when they first met. Gage has been pretty open about his feelings for Sally and that he would like to have a relationship with her. Sally on the other hand finds Gage attractive ...to much so she thinks but also values his friendship with her and her son. Sally fears are that if they have a relationship and they break it off then her son would be hurt by the lost of Gage.
This was a more mature romance story but nerveless a really good one!
Enjoyed it!
"My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read."

Whisper of Love - Melissa Foster

Honestly, Whisper of Love is my favorite story involving the Braden family so far. The interactions between the characters and the way the settings are described made me love this story.

Tempest has always been a character I adored, even as a secondary character in the previous stories. She is such a sweet, patient, and caring person. I wanted the best for her. The Bradens are such a close-knit family and I enjoy reading about Tempest's siblings and cousins in this story.

Nash Morgan is a great character. I liked how standoffish he could see, yet he was willing to open up and communicate better for Tempest. He sounds like such an adorable single father who loves his son Phillip.

Phillip is probably one of the main reasons why I love this story so much. He is such a sweet boy who tries to follow in Nash's footsteps. It was very entertaining to see him grow throughout the story. His character made me wish the story had no ending and would keep going.

I received this book through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

Chased by Love - Melissa Foster

I enjoyed Chased by Love. It's a great addition to the Love in Bloom series. The book shows the importance of communication and not judging a book by it's cover.

I couldn't help but fall in love with the characters.

I adore Trish, like the rest of her family. She's kind hearted, yet she has a feisty streak that makes me very entertaining.

Boone was not who I expected him to be when I first started reading the book. He's so much better than what I imagined him to be. The scene where Boone takes in the kitten made me start wondering if Boone truly is as irresponsible and arrogant as he seems.

Even Boone's family seems like they'd be a fun bunch to get to know more, especially Lucky. I would love to see more of Lucky or Lucky having his story.

I really enjoyed reading how Boone and Trish would communicate and talk through their issues. They were able to make it past many hurdles by discussing their thoughts and feelings.

The book did leave me curious about one main thing, how is Jude, Boone's bandmate, doing?

I received this book to review through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, all the opinions above are 100% my own.

Touched by Love (Love in Bloom: The Remingtons) - Melissa Foster

Touched by Love, which tells the story of Janie Jansen and Boyd Hudson is another beautiful story by Melissa Foster. This is book #6 of the Love in Bloom – Remington series and like all of her books can be read as a stand-alone.

Janie and Boyd have proven to be two of my favourite characters from Melissa’s stories.  Janie is the type of heroine I enjoy interacting with when reading books in the romance genre. I hate weak and clingy heroines, of which Janie was the complete opposite. She has a degenerative eye disease that would eventually lead to absolute blindness. However, she does not allow her lack of sight to hinder from pursuing her dreams. She is fiercely independent and hates relying on anyone to get through her day. As such when Boyd Hudson, her coworker, offered to assist her after she had a near death experience she was reluctant to accept his help.

Boyd Hudson has been attracted to Janie from the moment he laid eyes on her. However, he hid his feelings because he had plans for the future, which did not include him getting involved in a romantic relationship.  However, life has a funny way of throwing curve balls when we least expect it. Boyd Hudson was about to have his well-laid plans shaken up in ways he never expected.

I enjoyed every moment of this fun, sexy and heartwarming story. From the moment I began, I found myself immersed in the lives of Boyd and Janie. I felt every emotion that permeated the pages of this book.   I was impressed with Janie’s attitude towards life. I loved that she was able to transform her obstacles into triumphs.  Melissa’s heroes are always swoon-worthy and Boyd was no exception.  Not only was he hot, he was kind, gentle and protective of those he loved. He treated Janie with the utmost respect. He was tender and caring towards her while giving her space to exercise her independence.  They both experienced their share of pain and hurt. They were not perfect. They were broken and flawed, which made it easy to appreciate them.

The romance was intense, emotional, sexy with a hint of sweetness. Their relationship grew over time. I thought they were good for each other. Their relationship was not perfect. It had its ups and downs like any normal relationship. Janie helped Boyd to realise that he had the strength to move pass the pain of his past.  He helped her to see that relying on someone does not necessarily mean giving up your independence.

I thought the story was well written and the pacing was good. I loved how detailed the author was when describing each scene. I felt like I was actually a part of the story.

My only problem with the story was that I did not get to meet Janie’s parents. It would have been nice to see their reaction to their daughter finding the man of her dreams. Also, it would have been nice to know if they had finally accepted that Janie was self-reliant and they need not worry so much about her.

Touched by Love is a beautiful story about love and healing. It demonstrates that people without sight are just as capable as a sighted person.  I enjoyed this installment and I am eagerly awaiting my next Melissa Foster fix.
